I like the swivel feature, I'm forever twisting my neck around to look at noises behind me when I'm just sitting in the woods. Commanding views from that chair for sure. Thanks for sharing Mark!
Looks like a seriously solid chair with the comfort features and a great price. Excellent for any use besides Backpacking as it’s 3 lbs. Thanks for showing.
G'day Mark, I quite like it. Not sure it's ever gonna be a beach sand chair, I'd be willing to bet it will sink in, even the ones with cross members do to some extent, + I wouldn't be wanting sand in the swivel mechanism in particular. However, around a campfire, fishing on a stable riverbank or pier, (or as you mentioned, any application with your vehicle not too far away), I reckon its a winner. Btw; apologies if I missed it, but did you mention a load rating ? @ the mid to high eighty kilo range, I don't expect there'd be an issue for me, but may well be important for some folks. The weight and price make this a no go for me. For backpacking I want one half the weight of the chair I have not nearly double. For car camping you could get a more comfortable chair for a 1/3 of the price.
