Today i have something really special for you, folks: At MagicCon Amsterdam i had the possibility to talk to legendary MTG artist Mark Tedin, who i consider Magic Royalty :). Thanks Mark and Wynne, you have been more than kind and lovely and i really appreciate the opportunity to have a chat with Mark about his art and everything MTG!

Thanks Jürgen for this amazing interview! Perfect selection of questions and kept consistently interesting. Unfortunately I missed going to the show, a lot of work to fix things around the house at the moment.

Color use, impeccable details and an unstoppable imagination/fantasy. This illustrator is always in my heart! Remember Juzam being my favorite artwork as a child in '94, but I can't and won't choose any favorites anymore. Ill take em all yes please! Cool interview! It's amazing how connected you are and how you get this stuff done my friend :) Hope you had a great one!

The Juzam certainly is one of my favourites of Mark’s pieces too! Such an intriguing piece of art! But he did so many iconic pieces of iconic art that it is impossible to chose, i agree, Cless! It was good to see you at the show, buddy! 😁🙏🏻👊🏻

SOL RING IS ALL I HAVE TO SAY!!!! It was my first pick artifact always in every deck I ever ran. What an amazing photo Broski! What a a legend, I would have never believed had you told me as a Kid that Iwill have a friend that has met MTG artists, I would have never believed it. Master Yoda at work!!!

I hope Mark does something for Sorcery some day. I have a soft spot for his art. First Magic deck I ever opened had a Chaos Orb and I kept that card. It's the most used and well loved card in y collection.

Sorry ... niet in chat maar wel "Live" .... wat ik altijd al heb willen weten is .... Kunnen de artiesten "Later" nog Artist Proof kaarten bijbestellen of is dat een maal en dan niet meer ... en is dat een gelimiteerde oplage of kunnen ze zelf een aantal opvragen... zou veel betekenis hebben voor mogelijke waarde ... denk ik. Maar zou denk ik een interessante vraag voor volgende keer . TOP intervieuw trouwens. Was het de vrouw van Mark T. die het camerawerk deed ... 😅😂🤣 Maar HELEMAAL TOP GOWZER ! Had je de vragen voorbereid? Zal je waarschijnlijk nog lang bijblijven. 👌👍🙌👏🙏

@@savannahlion3081artist proofs krijgen ze alleen ma’ een keer, en dat is het. dus die zijn erg gelimiteerd en zeldzaam. van de oude zoals antiquities en legends zijn er alleen ma’ 50. ook vertelde mark mij dat hij van sommige iets meer dan 100 heeft gehad. maar ja, mac 50-100 is natuurlijk niets. ik had wel wat dingen in me hoofd over die ik het wilde hebben, ja, maar je moet een beetje met de flow mee gaan. en idd, wynne heeft het interview gefilmd, waar ik heel dankbaar voor ben 🙏🏻

Mark has so many iconic pieces. Juzam is probably most awesome, but the one that comes to my my mind for most nostalgic is lord of the pit. I remember my first time showing me that card when revised and out and couldn’t believe the card

Excellent video! I love interviews with the original artists and thought you did a great job with the flow of the interview and asked great questions. Mark would be a great addition to Sorcery!
