I mean... the clapping at the end of the first movement is a bit sacrilegious. Doesn't merit a thumbs down, but could be a reason.

I think something was off about the Violin. The playing was magnificent though.

He plays on a Montagnana violin. Doesn't seem to project as well and have the golden colours of the golden period Strads and Del Gesu that we are used to listening to on recordings.

When I heard his violin, I thought just the opposite-- that violin sounds so bright, extremely powerful, and clear. That is a stunning instrument. It has, visually, a gorgeous appearance, too.
