Had Tchaikovsky lived long enough to attend this rendition, I'm sure he would say..."this is what I meant to speak in this sextet". Thanks Janine and all your friends. You guys are great!!!!!!

You have to believe that Janine's career as a violin soloist really exists only to support her commitment to music like this. I've loved watching her for years and one thing that has always come across in those many performances is her engagement with members of the orchestra. In chamber music that is all that matters. This is exquisite. Janine is a joy!

Arguably the best live chamber music performance of any piece ever! Beyond belief! Janine Jansen's command of artistic impression is unlike anything I have ever heard.

The second movement makes me sob ever since the first time I heard it 20 years ago. So heartbreaking. They play it so beautifully and passionately 😭

I think Ms. Jansen was born to play music like this - big and brilliant. This is a really nice performance of a horrifically difficult but gorgeous work.

Everything changes dramatically when a world class violinist like Jensen is at the lead. Breathtakingly gorgeous. She is also gorgeous

No superlatives can do this performance justice. It is just beyond everything. Magical, hypnotic, brilliant, astounding, beautiful, a composition and performance by geniuses.

Surely the most charismatic and energetic violin virtuoso on the circuit today. There are violin compositions that have never found favour with me during my lifetime but when she plays them, i watch, listen and learn. Her enthusiasm overflows and she clearly loves playing chamber/ensemble works.
