This pas de deux is sooooo beautifu! I just don't remember whether I'm breathing or not while watching this. Just gazing them. Choreophy, technique and beauty...everything is so amazing. My spirit trip into the Nutcracker with them everytime I watch this video.

The Most Gorgeous version I have seen of the Nutcracker Grand Pas De Deux, it climaxed perfectly along with the score!! Plus it had an amazing lift at the right time!! I absolutely adore this piece!!!
Meine allerliebste Version vom Pas de Deux im Nußknacker. Ich weiß nicht, aber irgendwie wirkt es dunkler,intensiver und noch magischer. Unsere beiden russischen Koryphäen waren so perfekt. Schade, dass Malakhov nicht mehr bei uns ist.

Completely agree - Nadja Saidakova has a timeless classical grace and elegance which is wonderful- a magnificent and sparkling performer who should be so much better known than she actually is. She has just given me a ticket to be at her opening night of Onegin in Berlin (is of course dancing the lead role of Tatiana) tomorrow night. I cant wait. her outfit for the backstage party has to be seen to be believed - I've just watched her try it on with her attentive talented Siberian couturier!
This is in my opinion the most beautiful version of Nutcracker. The choreography by Patrice Bart is sublime, different from all the other versions because it's full of magic and poetry!
Delicious port de bras and epaulement on Ms. Saidakova; she seems to be underrated or not as well known as she really should be, most likely due to all the attention that Semionova receives. Saidakova is a wonderfully pure classicist. Not something you see much any more, with only a few exceptions (such as Marianela Nunez who also sat in the shadows of a fellow company member, Cojocaru, for many years but is finally getting the accolades she so richly deserves).

Absolutely beautiful, both dancing and choreography! One suggestion: correct the name, it's Malakhov, not Malahov (as it is can't be found in a search)
This is not aiming to the output of these two artists portrayed, but .... the overall poor quality of dancing in this production of Deutsche Staatsoper Berlin was only surpassed by Patrice Bart's choreographic blunder. It's available on DVD.
