What do you think about the massive 115-inch X955 and other big screens from TCL? Is this something you would be interested in owning? Let us know in the comments below!
The JVC NZ900 costs $26000 USD (and that does not include the screen, ceiling mount, interconnects, home theater system, installation, etc.). Anyone with the money who buys the JVC over this TCL is a fool, especially considering the JVC is not as bright and sharp as the TCL, has inferior color volume, does not support Dolby Vision or VRR, has worse contrast and cannot be used in a bright room.
That's all true, but some users will prefer the reflected image from a projector as it is more film-like. But it is great that there is now a real choice for those who want massive screen sizes and the 115X955 Max has excellent image quality
Wrong, Not everyone is interested in a PJ definitely those who does not have a dedicated Basement or have room lighting issues. It’s all about the decor, This will be perfect medium for my wife and I due to how we designed our home. aesthetics does not make you a fool 😊
NZ900 can go way bigger. But if all you can fit is 120 or less you will be much happier without the hassle of a projector. They are slow and can not produce much brightness
They knew 8K would make the price double or triple , and nobody would buy it. And since there’s no 8K programming right now. Nobody’s gonna wanna waste that money. That is exactly why all the TV companies have cut back on 8k. Some just quit making it all together. Right now 8k is a failure.
Work on the software before it comes to market? In many countries it's been already available for months and now they say that software isn't ready? It's horrible that some people paid so much money for being basically beta testers.
It is just a slight niggle with the HDR PQ EOTF tracking and the engineers will update this when they can. For the majority of users, they will not see anything odd when watching HDR10 or Dolby Vision content.
Thank you for the rundown for all the models including the TCL C855. Is there any source/evidence that the C855 will be able to support full 4:4:4 chroma subsampling at 4K 144hz with HDR enabled? Many TVs can already do it with HDR disabled but not with HDR enabled, especially in windows PC.
Competition from Samsung, LG, Sony, Vizio is coming. Samsung, Sony and LG tried to fleece customers with their eye watering prices for 100 inch models - they're going to have to come down hard on those future prices when they introduce a 115 to 120 inch version of their own - time to save $25 G's!
Well, It can’t reach 5000 nits yet because nobody’s kicking out movies or anything that allow you to reach 5000 nits. But apparently Sony is going to start making movies that are5000 nits.
In the last part with the tv's dimming zones without the lcd, only with the mini-lights. If you compare the lowest with the more dimmingzones.. The 115 is spectacular. But For the lower tv's I think that a oled tv is better for the job with every pixel self-lightning.. 8 millions ""mini-leds" /zones..
There isn't really an equivalent. Perhaps, the smaller 98 and 85" x955s count. This X955 is branded as the QM8 115" in North America. Perhaps, the c855 is the "equivalent".
Lovely video, i like the honesty and non nonsense approach. Not true on the delivery requiring 6 people though. With the right people and equipment its done by 3 people without too much effort.
