The TCL 30 is a unique budget smartphone that might not be for everyone but it does have a good display and battery going for it. Personally, it is not primary smartphone material for a heavy user but as a secondary phone just for multimedia consumption, it does have some promise.

For media consumption and social media this is a great device. I think too many people knock devices because they can't game or taking videos or photos . You can't realistically expect something this price to do it all of even complain at all if it can't. This is a media monster and that's all it is and should expect from it. It won't perform like an S22 Ultra and too many people act like it should.

Well said. Its like the pair of shoes you use to cut the grass. Thats what phones are turning into. Just like sneakerheads. Got to have a pair for a night out or for work etc etc. Just switch the sim and head out.

It's been great for social media and videos but not so much on gaming or multitask and will get laggy... I don't care for games anyhow lol yeah not a bad budget model. Just wish it wasn't so locked down 👎

I just watch RU-vid or Netflix and use Snapchat mainly absolutely no gaming so would this be good for me. I unfortunately smashed my more expensive but 2 year old Huawei phone so just need something with a large oled screen and usable camera quality.

I have been using TCL 30 and I have used many mid tier phones - but this is great; the screen is super responsive and for someone who uses it on a day to day basis for email, web browsing, watching videos, listening to music, phone calls, text you name it. And above all it is really cheap and it's not buggy and there is no lag. I am having a very good experience with the phone. Highly Recommend!

I have the android TCL 30v 5G and it is always very slow to charge up to full power. I heard that this phone has "fast charging" capability. I saw instructions on how to enable fast charging by going into the battery settings in my phone and make sure fast charging is enabled. Well, the problem is when i go to the battery settings in my phone, there is NO option for fast charging. Can someone confirm if the TCL 30 5G has fast charging capability? and show me how to enable the fast charging in my phone. Thanks

I've just got this phone for 130 euros. I have a Xperia 5 II but I had to send it for repair. Wanted something very cheap in the mean time, also going to use it when I'm working, since there is a high chance of dropping my phone and breaking it(like what happened with my xperia). The big battery, 60Hz and lower-end processor were a priority, as I need battery endurance for work. It should arrive tomorrow. For 130 euros, I think this phone was a steal. Will update with my impressions when it arrives and I set it up.

I bought this phone 6 , months a it completely just stopped could not harge it I tried everything I only used it for normal every day use would have any ideas what it could be please.

This must be the regular TCL 30 and not the 30 5g variant which uses the Mediatek Dimensity 700. That Dimensity processor is pretty decent in the 5g version. TCL is still relatively new to smartphones but they're doing a great job. If they can improve their updates policy and add a few more premium features (or at least a TCL branded feature) then it'll be set to dethrone the big dog companies like Samsung, Google, and Apple.

where i live it costs 101 euro 500 ron welp since my huawei p20's display fell off and ripped it's cable and iy will most likely cost the same to fix every issue with it
