Thanks! In my case it was even easier than the first trick. I just let it stand completely off somewhere else and untouched several months, as I was not sure what to do with it, not starting, and I thought it might be scrap after all. But now, finding some time, a new test = all cables on again - and it came back to life. I don't know what was wrong, but it works again.
Here’s the weird thing I’ve had my TCLQ7 TV for maybe six months now and I’ve had powering on issues ever since intermittently. I can’t identify a pattern. Power cycling, sometimes solves the problem, but not always that’s the strange thing. I’ve tried replacing batteries in the remote control plus I have the smart phone app to bypass the remote. Neither of these work. However I do notice is that the TV will receive voice commands and the LEDs at the bottom will light up to acknowledge that it has heard me. It seems like it’s in this kind of pseudo state. I don’t know. I purchased an extended warranty for it so I wonder if this is just a lemon. Leslie, I did contact customer service and I went through the basic troubleshooting issues with them.
