WANG Aikang: Bamboo Song (TCCO and TCO)
The music is composed based on the tunes of southern Jiangsu folk songs. The lyrical slow section describes the early morning, when rays of sunshine shine through the green bamboo forest and cast a golden glow. The hard-working farmers sing folk songs leisurely and happily. The Allegro section, which builds from weak to strong, expresses their cheerful diligence and anticipation of the harvest. The Adagio then reappears, recounting the beauty of the bamboo forest.

王愛康: 竹歌
樂曲以蘇南民歌音調為素材創作而成，以抒情的慢版令人回憶起故鄉的清晨，縷縷陽光透過翠綠的竹林，灑下一片金色，勤勞的農民、悠悠的唱起山歌，親切、寧靜。由弱漸強的小快板，表現了人們歡快的勤勞，並展望竹林的豐收。慢板再現，他深情的歌唱故鄉的竹林。
