@@YamumsYadad oh true I noticed there is clearly extra terminals but they have no purpose. Upgrades would be awesome. They could even do tier upgrades that change the weapons in multiple different ways
@@YamumsYadadI think there for Helldivers to vote for president ( probably a feature that would give a choice of A or B ) , I remember one of the NPCS yapping about how Helldivers are equipped with voting things and what not, something along those lines.
@@YamumsYadadI think upgrading strategms will be in the ship terminal, upgrading weapons will be in the armory terminal and the encyclopedia terminal will be the one across from the armory (it’s something so noobs can learn weaknesses and see the strengths and weaknesses of each enemy
In Helldivers 1, the M5-32 HAV had 2 machine guns bays, a driver, and a turret operator. It was awesome. You got an achievement if everyone was riding in it on a Friday night lol
You are literally describing an M5-32 HAV. That bad boy had everything: Anti-armor main cannon, 2 machineguns on the sides and a formidable health pool! I hope the MoD will clear us to use these models...
Hopefully we get that. It’ll probably be hell to get randos to cooperate enough to be an effective tank crew, but a group of friends with consistent communication would be able to make any mission feel like a scene out of T-34 (2019) or Fury (2014)
I has been a hundred years. An experimental mark 4 or 5 with different pro's or cons to justify it being in a differently balanced game would make a lot of sense!
You do realize with IFVs and tanks getting ran over by friendlies are common accidents. I know there's IFVs (IRL) that needs to get redesigned because almost everytime they hop out of it they get ran over. But at the same time why the hell would you jump out of a running vehicle. Im sure Helldivers 2 will fix that issue(or not cuz it's funnier)
one of the things I love about HD is that there isn’t a lvl.10->lvl11 upgrade: +3% damage, -2% spread at the cost of 20h of grinding/3 bucks of your currency like a lot of other games have. upgrading mid-battle by charging it with sth special, similar to how mini-nukes are better than HE-rounds on SEAF artillery, is the most I‘d go with. you can also "upgrade" laser weapons by using them on cold planets
Personally I'm More of a fan of just well-rounded sandbox, without more s*** the grind through. I know I'm in the minority here but I absolutely hate grinding for gear. I just want to play with the toys and I want the toys to all be interesting choices comparatively instead of upgrades.
Forget the TD-110, the EXO-51, or as us veterans call it, the "Lumberer", is what we need to crush the Terminids, Automatons, the probably returning Illuminate and the possible fourth faction alike.
Bet you anything the only reason we don't have vehicles yet is cause they are trying to make them work for this new third person/first person perspective
I think the terrain is another issue. There's so many rocks and little bits of terrain that you can get stuck on even with the vaulting mechanic that I imagine vehicles would have trouble with. Good luck getting a tank into and back out of a Terminid nest pit.
@@Jules.69 Considering the number of times I've been smacked in the face with an orbital beacon, I have trouble imagining the average player NOT driving into a bug nest.
@@Khotetsu hahahaha true enough bro but I mean anytime I'm fighting bugs and see those nests I and everyone else on the team throw all the orbital strikes we can so honestly im imagining an army of red beacons in the bug nests as sort of a don't drive their kinda thing but I threw my 500 kilogram in one once and my teammate walked right on through the mfer and was blown into the stratosphere so who knows😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@tacolover105 pretty sure plans for a helicopter would be in the garbage after we perfected making literal interplanetary war ships lol Besides, the Pelican does everything a helicopter could do, and more.
@@Joker9331 Nvm, we must not use 20th century designs like those dirty socialist automatons, I've already called my democracy officer to go to be reeducated. Don't let ilegal broadcasts get into your head!
that makes no sense, if the super destroyers were so good they would be able to stay longer than 40 minutes in orbit. A destroyer cant do what a helicopter can do and vice versa. Two completely different tools for two completely different jobs@@Joker9331
This does not run over big Bugs, tanks, Hulks, and that Illuminati flying/disappearing wall fortress. I remember the Illuminati use that wall separation on vehicles, mechs and gamers. It's a one shot death destruction on it.
Hear me out. Ignore the cannon, find a cliff, and try to headshot a Bile Titan with the tank itself. Then go A-Team and use the cannon to steer mid-air. 😈
"Impervious to small-arms fire." Well, we already know that modern Arrowhead wants everything to be dangerous to you, so any idea of semi-invincibility is already out the window. This thing is going to die in 3 hits if it ever shows up.
HD1 weapons and strategems have upgrades. No customized weapon. Arrowhead, in all their games, do not have customized weapons and armors. The only customized items are capes and color swap of players.
"Small tank-destroyer" they say as something shaped like a Leman Russ rolls up, completely immune anything smaller than a charger and pretty resistant to anything that isn't an orbital strike.
I always brought this with me in the classic game. Always ther driver. Most times my team wouldn't help. But ive had a few that successfully integrated as the gunner and we were invincible
'Listen up, when I joined the corps we didnt have any fancy schmancy tanks, we had liberators! two liberators and a grenade! and we had to SHARE the grenade! Buck up, son, you're one very lucky helldiver!'
@mitwhitgaming7722 the designation came in WW2, when the age of tanks was upon most countries. Most tanks were utilized in infantry support so when tanks were present on the battlefield they would often call for aid from Tank Destroyer units, as their specialty was in their name. Just a bit of history
"When I joined the Helldivers, we didnt have an fancy shmancy tanks. We had sticks, two sticks, and arock for the whole team and we had to share the rock. Buck up boy, you're one very lucky Helldiver." - General Brasch
Fun fact: tank destroys were made to be cheaper tanks to produce but still have strong anti armor capabilities. Great examples of TD’s are from WW2 were german and soviet TD’s were casemates with big guns
Thatd what i wished they would do for mechs. Make them a simple upgrades like ship upgrades. Increase speed by 5%, increase ammo cap by 15% or higher and such. Something to make the mechs more viable cause it takes all ammo from the autocannons walker to kill one bile titan
Rolling around in a tank just blasting away bugs and bots would be amazing … though I feel like a way to balance it would be to make its movement speed, not turning speed, slower than the walker but have it carry high amounts of fire power
What also would be cool to call in a squad of troops or when we get temporary buffs we can buy with recurces like have more realimforcmend and maybe getting a company of superearth soldiers who spawn across the map fighting enemys
I hope they add skulls thar you can mix and match every mission and you get them from upgrading your ship like engineers bay would let you put special weapons on vehicles when more come to the game
They should balance it by making it so four divers are required to use it if it’s so powerful 1 driver 1 gunner for big gun 1 gunner for little gun 1 loader for big gun
Don't worry folks, I am sure this along with weapon upgrades / stratagem upgrades are all on the way! The dad's trying to space everything out so that way we always have something to look forward to! This game is awesome and I believe they have said in the past that they intend to bring everything from the first game into the second.
If it takes 2 helldivers to use, we need to think of a creative way to have that requirement. I dont know of a good one, the best I can think of would be one helldiver does the left tread and the machine gun and another helldiver does the cannon. Yes, it sounds dumb and probably would be, but if it requires 2 helldivers that would be a good way to add that part as well as requiring teamwork.
Mark 4 upgrade: Bastion requires 5 man to operate and now changes into a zord. If every Helldiver on the mission has it at Mark 4 the Zord becomes a Megazord and you’re invincible while you’re inside the Megazord 🤣🤣
So 100 years Ago, Super earth can provide those times Helldiver with Armored Vehicle... Current era, send 4 soldier behind enemy line to sabotage is enough... Thats the reason, million Helldiver have died just in second month
We really need this warmachine of destruction with the amount of bigger stronger bugs and robots Helldivers are facing in battle. Something like this providing heavy anti-armor fire support would be invaluable to any Helldiver unit deployed to the battlefront.
I'd say the reason we don't see them in todays war is because Helldivers didn't have a need for them but with the new big update I think I speak for everyone when I say FOR THE LOVE OF DEMOCRACY GIVE US TANKS!!
A tank destroyer configuration will not work with the way battlefields are set up on this game chargers will destroy the tank from a flank well before you can engage them all
Too bad the devs wont add anything this good, if they do add the tank itll be made of paper mache and AT MOST have 13-15 rocket rounds that are weaker then a EAT. But one can hope.. right?
Personally, I'd rather we let the Bastion be. Else the devs will make it weaker (if not just as fragile) as the exosuits and its cannon rounds would take 6 shots to down a bile titan, (watch them limit the Bastion to only 6 cannon shots)
When will we even get a major order for these vehicles? All the enemies are getting op stuff wheres our op stuff. It literally says on the physical version of the game "Fight hordes of bugs and bots with overpowered weapons"
Dude that be so good to have then we can fight fire with fire against the The automatons then make them feel how we feel when we get shot by a beam from their tanks that explode on impact
Seems like the automatons must have reverse engineered the old rusting bastion husks that are scattered around from the first conflict and made their own modified mass produced version, at least at first glance with the exposed frontal tank treads.
As a non-HD player, I've gotta ask: Why have an armored vehicle assigned to be manned by special forces soldiers? I get they have the training for it just in case, but isn't it better to have designated vehicle operators for that?
it's assumed that helldivers are specialized in whatever equipment they bring into the mission with them (as specialized as they can with their 20 minutes of seaf training and 5 minutes of helldiver training anyway) and helldivers have absolute freedom in how they conduct warfare on the ground as long as it yields results
