Nice one! Just got myself a TD3 this week, so this is super helpful, as the way the sequencer works is a bit backwards!

Nice one man. Yeah, it’s absolutely it’s own way of working. Which makes for lovely accidents but also frustration!

You can change the notes when in pitch mode, doesn't always work so you may end up cycling through the pattern a few times to get the changes you want but what else would you expect from the td3 they do seem to have a mind of their own 😃

The problem I have is when working with lower buffer sizes in my audi interface the td3 and my other hardware stays in sync .As the prject develops and U increase rhe buffer size the td3 etc are out of sync .Any advice on how to get round this ..Many thanks

Hi, ok, just need to get my head around this first. So are you saying the latency increases the more the demand on the cpu? If so, that’s normal. Also, when your hardware goes out of sync, are they all out of sync together i.e. all delayed by the same amount? A way around latency issues can be the use of direct monitoring - to a degree anyway. There’s a lot of possibilities here, but if you could give me some more info, I reckon I can help. Cheers

do you have a compressor on?
@JohnnyCrump

Just listened back to it and the only possible compression would be some slight side chain compression - just so the kicks come through clearer. I’m pretty sure that’s on there, but analog 303 sounds really bite through the mix, but just to tighten it up, I’m almost certain I’d have had some side compression. Hope that answers your question? Cheers

yes it did thank you. I can hear a slight pump in there. I tried recreating the pattern and it sounds way off. I'll probably try it with some fx thru my 404 mk2. thanks dude!@@JohnnyCrump

@@rinse4208 No worries! I tend to use a ghost kick for things like this, then just adjust the side chain slightly, so it’s more of a mix technique than an overly pumping effect.
