Midway Drags Raceway hosted their second DIESEL DAY event on the 6th of November 2022. We have worked hard to get the car running a 110% before the event. Watch as all our hard work pays off, getting crowned the FASTEST TDI on the day!
Hi it was me with the 330d. Only running downpipe and Xcede stage 2 software with runflats😮… I have the video of the first run, very close.. Second run when you hit the gas you gave me a proper hiding haha😂. Well done
Loving the content man! Just wondering if you are considering getting some proper slicks for the polo? Would get you to do a sub 2s 60 foot pretty easily
How about a roadtrip to Cape Town in the Tdi Etienne. Then do a few quarter mile pulls at Killarney Robot Racing...Just a thought. Make a video of the whole trip example, fuel used, food stops, etc.
I would LOVE to do that, with both my cars, but sadly it'll cost far too much in our current economy. Last year I went down for 10 days, and it cost me around 20k 😑
3 puck button clutch. Just took it out today, will be taking it back to Norbrake for a rebuild, I'm happy with the service they gave me and how the clutch held up
It's a Solid flywheel, upgraded pressure plate and a button clutch (3 puck if I remember correctly). I did about 12 000kms om it, so got good service out of it. Will redo it soon and then we can chase the 7's
@@CCDVIDEO Jeeeezas!!! Only 12k kms? Think I've done about 250k on mine. I beat on it daily. 5th gear always kaks (three boxes later) but the clutch is a survivor 🤣
@@Stevo299 remember, 200wkw on boost, and these launches are hard on clutches, and nitrous even worse. A button clutch wears out way faster than a normal clutch too
