The idea of this is pretty darn good. It can make for one hell of an event. In fact, i could see this being a potential little minigame where you could play like MvM from TF2. Only problem is gonna be optimization yet again... Other than that, this'll be a pretty good game/gamemode to use VR with

One second you're getting kills in farmlands for less than 2 hours, and then you sweep Portland arena with crook boss or something, get to PW2, find that funny building ledge strategy cheese on PW2, blink twice, and magically have the ability to buy and max out every single tower and have no reason to play the game anymore because in about 5 minutes of grinding PW2, you have 1 million coins to spend and destroy everything. That's HIGHLY exaggerated and just from what I played 3-4 months ago though.
Id love to have a tower where its special ability is that you get to take control of it in first person and shoot at your own will. But it should be a hc tower and be extremely expensive.
A tower that's controlled manually FPS-style would be heck to deal with. Just imagine trying to farm with such a tower. The only possible way I can imagine this working is if this tower is only designed for the purposes of end-game, where all farming has already been done. Here's my idea: Tower nick-name: FPS (stands for Full-Power Sentry) Max level stats: Placement limit, 1. Cost, $600,000. DPS, 3,000, with supports not being able to buff it for obvious reasons. Form of DPS, either 300 damage every 0.1 seconds or 30,000 damage every 10 seconds, with both options using laser bullets & having slow swiveling (so imagine trying to aim, and when you move it right, the whole sentry moves very slowly). Range, 15 (at least its 20 with DJ). Has stun immunity, but no detections (yeah laser bullets can't melt hiddens, leads, & flying because logic & balancing).
And before you go commenting, "This is too OP", yes, I know it might be too OP. But hey, it did receive a big nerf. The cost used to be $500,000, DPS was 4,000, and it could either deal 400 damage every 0.1 seconds or 50,000 damage every 12.5 seconds. Also, the one before the nerfs was so cost efficient, that if you were to try to replace its DPS with accelerators, you'd pay over $150,000 more (Yeah... I think I got carried away with making this tower OP). In the current stage, this tower is less cost efficient than accelerator (getting accelerators instead would be $20,000 cheaper), but it sure deals more DPS. Other comparisons to accelerator are that while this tower might have stun immunity, accelerator has more range, has 2 more detections, & doesn't have to deal with the slow swiveling.
my theories on what it chould be 1. we will get some ability where we will be able to get a gun and attack enemies with it and the only disadvantage whould be that you only get a limited amount of ammo 2. the new tower will have an ability that allow us to control it or control something they posses like a mecha (cant guess stuff like tanks planes or apcs given those are actually in the game allready)
