TDW 1358 - The Grave of Michael Jackson 

I used to work at Disney World and he would come visit quite often with kids. He and his security team walked past me "backstage" in Magic Kingdom. He went out of his way to say Hello and wave to us lowly "cast members." Cast member is Disney speak for employees. I always thought that was pretty cool of him.

I met Michael at Islands of Adventure the year it opened (1999).. I was in 5th grade.. He was shopping in marvel superhero island with a ton of body guards. I'll never forget how sweet he was to everyone :)

I was 18 when Michael Jackson passed away. It's been 8 years since we lost him, I can't believe it. It breaks my heart knowing he's gone and I still think about it today.

MJ best friend The late great Elizabeth Taylor is about 100 feet away from were you are standing. You can actually walk right up to her place of rest.

As a NYC worker back when MJ was doing his Bad video is when I stood 2ft away from him . I didn't know how to react so I smiled and waved and he did the same . I literally thought he was tall but to my surprise he wasn't at all . So petite he was 🙌 RIP 👼

TheDailyWoo Just a note to say - Michael's crypt isn't under that stain-glass window. He's in the back of the building. There are 3 stain-glass windows in a 'bay style' formation which allows the sunlight to shine down on his grave. Go through those large stone archways and to the right. Just follow the road, you will see them. And also those aren't petunias. It's a type of Viburnum. Thought you'd like to know the facts, seeing that you're documenting this video. Forest Lawn is a beautiful location for Michael to Rest in Peace. I've been to Holly Terrace 5 times now. Missed the past 2 anniversaries :( Justice For Michael

2:18 Yes Michael Jackson was laid to rest at the Holly Terrace but that is not where he is exactly at. He was laid to rest on that building but on the west side on the very top. Go to Hollywood Graveyard on RU-vid he'll show you exactly where he's at.

I loved him greatly as his songs were about change.. the messages in some of his songs resonate with most of us "they don't care about us " his earth song..he was good hearted man who wanted to see change in the world.

Holly (hall-e) is the plant, as in wreaths. Sacred is Holy (whole-e).

There will never be another MJJ, and if there was, it would be a repeat of his most iconic moves of all time. A True Gentleman and so sad he got such a bad press for all the wrong reasons, the guy was a legend and beyond all compare. MJJ will live on in our hearts and his music will still make money till the end of time! Loved this ! When MJ passed , it took a big chunk of my childhood . I drove around all that night listening to his music , thinking that it was not true of his death !

There is also a Forrest Lawn in Cypress where Karen Carpenter is entombed as well as my mom. Will never forget I was 9 years old when he died and I had just gotten home from school when I saw it on the news. My mom was on the couch with a sad face cause she loved him too. I hugged her and said "but we just saw him announce his tour" and I cried actual tears. When his This Is It movie was released, my mom said she had a surprise for me and she played the dvd and we watched it repeatedly with some cookies and ice cream. Michael is missed dearly. RIP.

I grew up listening to MJ and I will never forget hearing the awful news. I had tickets to his This is It show in London. Was at work when I heard the news. Devastated and will never forget that moment. Even though of course the concerts were cancelled I still flew from CA to England the day it would of been. Would of been the opening show too.
