Holy moly, you meet a man carrying a cross to califonia, visit Davy Crocketts cabin a you get invited to sit in someones garden to watch albino squirrels, what a great day, take care man.

What an awesome day you had. First you encountered the young man, Donald Akers, who is walking across the country carrying the cross and spreading the gospel. He started out in Christiansburg Virginia which is in SW Virginia about an hour from where I live. He has made it a good distance already. I love the hospitality you received at both the museum and the lady telling you to sit a spell so that you could enjoy the albino squirrels.

If the world were filled with people like the ones you met in this town it would be so wonderful!☺

Beautiful wonderful souls!! Our elders need to be appreciated and listened to more, what they already know, the things they have learned and can teach us really are the keys to our futures, never closing the windows to the past! Great vlog Adam!

What kind, wonderful people you met Adam. I've always loved stories about Davy Crockett. Used to watch tv show with Fess Parker and Buddy Ebsen. Aw, the good old days.

I'm from Canada and have visited the south on a few occasions and I can say, from personal experience, that southern hospitality is a real thing. There are so many good folks, sadly it's hard to find random strangers in my neck of the woods who are as friendly and outgoing. This is one of my favourite vlogs of 2017. Thumbs up.

Watching your videos confirms my own experiences traveling and that's how genuinely nice most people are .

This may be an all time favorite video. Not only were the sights remarkable but the people were as well. I feel so much happier from the vicarious experience. Also loved the buckeye- brought back memories of my grandma's buckeye tree in Ohio. Safe travels.

I love old log cabins. Here in largo florida we have a log cabin from the 1850's at heritage village. Very cool place to go.

I actually reared up quite a bit when Adam was in that cabin with that couple. What an experience he had today! Meeting people like he did...so nice and thoughtful and just willing to share their knowledge. Like Adam said "that's what life is all about." He is very lucky to be experiencing life in this way. I wish everyone could....of course some of us are lucky enough to see it thru his "eyes."

A guy I graduated High School with does the same thing with a Cross, but he goes all over the world... you can look him up, Keith Wheeler...he's gotten fairly famous for it, he was one of the first to do something like that. They are dedicated people. You can sure tell that some people aren't jaded to the world... inviting a stranger up to watch the squirrels, or calling someone to open a business for a strange.... there are still quite a few good people left. Thank goodness for these older people who are usually volunteers at these historical sites. We have volunteers at our old hanging jail here in town.
