I used to go up there after Dolly left/before she came back. The difference is mind boggling. That wonderful lady saved that place from drying up and bowing out to Gatlinburg. God Bless her!

Adam, I wish I'd known you were in Pigeon Forge at that time. My family and I were there when you were. It would've been awesome to have met you. The Old Mill is delicious. The parade was pretty great, we were watching down by the arcade. I only wished the weather had been nicer while we were there and that the road to Gatlinburg hadn't been so bad. I'll certainly be glad when all of the fires are gone though. Sad to see that area that way but glad it's recovering

Finally got to visit here again after going with my family every summer for years. The Hatfield and McCoys was alot of fun...all you need is a big appetite and ask for seconds of everything before the show starts!! lol
In the early days of Dollywood, she used to ride around on a golf cart through the park. She stopped randomly for pictures pre-selfie days, and she would sign autographs. We visited yearly for several decades. I loved going to Cherokee also. The history there was epic.
I'm only a couple hours away from there I really hate I miss a day with of all the adventure! Awesome vlog as always! I really think we should (enjoy the little things in life)! From the sounds of Rocky Top to the sounds of sirens at the end of the parade I thank you!

We were there during the parade and after Dolly passed, we went inside the Moonpie store where it was warm and dry to watch the rest of the activities.
