Finally someone who uses the correct name, " Mod Podge", and not "Modge Podge". I wonder if someone just read it the wrong way and everyone kept repeating it The wrong way. Excellent tutorial! Thank you.

OMG!!! I thought I was the only one who collected teabag paper. I love love love it too. I use it for my sculptures. Teabag paper looks a lot like skin. I love what you’ve made here, so beautiful

Glad to see a reuse craft! I dont have big fancy items to make crafts. Just bought my first IOD alpha stamps. I wasnt sure if these small crack machines were worth it either but think I may look at some. Im pretty good at DIY without all this but would be nice to make tags for my sewn items or to recycle more! My mother Scottish immigrant so I joked her middle name was recycle!

Sharpening your scissors is easy. Clean out a soda can. Simply remove the top from an aluminum soda. Can using a serrated knife now just cut down the sides of the Cannes six or eight times and your scissors will be fully sharpened.

Can you please tell me the weight of the paper bag sheets. Regular paper is sold with a lb rating . i.e. 65 lb . Does this apply as well to grocery type paper bags and if it does can you please tell me what weight paper is used to make the bags you are using please. Thanks in advance for any help.

Absolutely beautiful! And the 3D embossing folders have amazing depth. I know how frustrating it can be getting the “sandwich” right! But once you get the formula correct it makes it enjoyable! Sizzix has plates and silicone mats (or did have) which make it work every time, and won’t break the machine… I absolutely love the paper bag and tea bag projects you created. I look forward to seeing more of what you do. Thanks for sharing your ideas 😊. ❤❤

I know we can just skip fwd but could you consider just glueing ONE brn paper and glueing ONE tea bag, ONE embossing folder?. Id rather not wreck your algorythm etc by skipping or just going to end.

Update!! Coles have halved the size of their paper bags! I’m not sure I like this development. And the glue is extra strong on the base, making them fiddly to dismantle now. I am getting a lot more waste!

What a great way to use foil sheets! Do you have a video on how to use embossing machines? I have a boutique and mini but when I use them with the plates they came with the plates open up like duck beak when I try to run them through and sounds like the machine will break so I'm scared to use them.

could you just use tea or coffee stained bags without the tea bags, or is there some relevance to using the tea bags?

Wow bet that goes through a lot of glue gun. I'm wondering if there's a less expensive glue like a white paste. But love how they come out after the modge podge. And the foiling technique and inking is wonderful. I've been fighting with trying to add wax like paste to raised embossing with poor results. And to see how well inking pads seem to work here OMGosh can't wait to give it a try with embossed plain card stocks. Now I have to give this brown bag and tea bag scrunge like look a try. I've got a stack of bags in my basement cabinet. We choose bags here in our area of the states over plastic so we sometimes have way lots. And what a fun way to use them. Thank you so much for experimenting with this and sharing with all of us. Love it.
