I prefer my cucumber with butter yum

I would omit the butter. It is unnecessary for P,B & J. Enjoy!

Salting the cucumbers is typically the first thing I do before preparing the sandwiches. However, cucumbers only need to be in the salt for about 20 minutes.

You and I are on the same page. I’m also making tea sandwiches for the teachers this year. Typically I don’t prepare them more than a day prior. I like to use salted butter as a spread and this acts as a barrier for moisture. I actually worry less about soggy bread than I do about dried out bread. Thank you for caring about teachers!
