I'm getting so inspired - hubby will be rolling his eyes when I tell him not to toss my leftover teabags!! He is already helping me save (as in not automatically tossing) security envelopes & travel catalogs that seem to arrive every week. Very clever items today. I just discovered you, so await more inspiring ideas!
SAMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE OMG I'm already telling him the same stuff save the Silicagel packs in your shipments for my flowers etc etc etc omg xo LOVE NINA!!!!!
My husband is more concerned with my credit card bill as I have started journaling and needed a lot of supplies! 😂. I have been doing the tea bag journaling and it turns our really pretty.
I do hope you read my comment. I'm elated to have found you today on RU-vid. You have given me so much inspiration as I am so new to mixed media, junk journals and art altogether. I love your projects on tea bags and the one with the bird is beautiful. You used a few different ideas with it and I think it's the most lovely tea bag project I've seen. Believe me I had been looking at what to do with these empty tea bags and yours won my heart. Thank you for sharing and I look forward to more Art with you as a new subscriber. ❤️❤️❤️🖌️🪡
Anyone who isn't a tea drinker - you can buy empty tea bags, both plain & unbleached. I recently saw some in Daiso, the Japanese store. Anyone else, your tea leaves can be composted; if you don't normally compost, just dig a tiny hole in the garden as deep as your hand & put them inside, covering back up with any removed soil. The earth will take care of everything else. Decomposing food waste in landfill sites is a major cause of pollution (methane gas & leachate run-off into our groundwater system) & every little bit diverted from landfill helps. Happy crafting & composting! 😊
She my Hands Down Absolute FAVORITE craft video maker EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XOXOXOXOXO I get SO much that I appreciate - thank you for being you!!!!!!!!!!
This makes it very clear now, thank you! I am delighted that the family-sized tea bags will be even more useful after making the iced tea this summer! Also, I am pretending that I am being taught by Mary Poppins. I love your voice!
I've been searching for inspiration to finish up my "Alice" journal and you gave it to me! A tassel made with tea bags, a perfect storybook ending. I have the image in my head so off to work. Thank you for the inspiration to finish my journal. Donna, in California.
I am a tea drinker but I got off the tea for awhile for coffee. I will be getting cream for my tea this week and changing back to tea! Thanks for the inspiration!
Oh my gosh- LOVE these ideas! I have been saving my tea bags and now I know I can use them! So cute! Thank you for sharing your time and creativity with us. Best wishes from St. Louis, Missouri !
absolutely beautiful .... this project came in time, I have "tons" of teabags... some of fruit tea is not very "pinkish", so I use water after cooking beetroots make them more pink color.... and works for me great... now is time I must experiment with water of cook spinach...
Thank you Nina for this inspiration. The teabags look awesome and each one so different. I have been saving teabags for a while now and not being an artist, this really helps to get images onto teabags in an easy manner. Thank you for your time. Take care.❤
New here, was attracted to the teabag theme. I'm in Canada in the province of Manitoba and city of Winnipeg. I have some teabags saved so I'd like to try some of these ideas and I have a tin of Prisma pencils as well.
I have been saving tea bags for years. Always made flowers with them. Got tired of that lol. Thank you for the great idea. Will create some tea bag designs for my journal
