I want to sign up for this course. I have a B Ed I'm from SA. I love Vietnam and I wanted to start there but Marinda suggested Cambodia is more easy to get into then Vietnam. My heart still lies with Vietnam thou😢 so I don't know if I should take d advice and go to Cambodia..
I would say take Vietnam. Vietnam is a lovely country to live in and explore. You will have easy access to Cambodia and Thailand. You can get good offers in Vietnam. With your B Ed, clear chriminal record, you will easy get a visa to Vietnam. Do not forget to mention my name on your application should you decide to enroll for the course.
I am a Nigerian, currently in the Philippines and I'm interested in this program. I have a bachelor's degree and a TEFL 120 hours certificate online. I'm interested in coming to Vietnam for English teaching, should I come directly from Philippines with a tourst visa, and then take AVSE TESOL with this organization when I get to Vietnam? Hey Minister, I would say Budget for maybe $2500 - $3500. The course is about $1800 all inclusive, accommodation,training, practicals in schools, job placement. And the rest will be for flights and getting by the month.

They're only interested in white native speakers, I speak from experience and I'm a native english speaker from Great Britain. If you're a black native speaker from a native english speaking country you might have a chance finding work but don't rely on it.

I have done the in class one. Because Vietnam was my 1st country abroad, I needed all the support I could get. So I opted for that one because I could stay at their rented apartments and explore the city while under their care.
