In hierdie video bespreek ons hoe die US haar gehoorgestremdheid akkommoddeer, oor watter vaardighede 'n onderwyser in 'n skool vir dowes moet beskik en hoekom mense sonder 'n gehoorgestremdheid ook Suid-Afrikaanse Gebaretaal (SASL) moet aanleer.
Ilze Aaron is a final year student in the BEd Foundation Phase programme. In this video we discuss how SU accommodates her hearing disability, what skills a teacher should have in a school for the deaf and why people without a hearing impairment should acquire South African Sign Language (SASL).
