I just mastered making faced “scoop” front trouser pockets and front fly zipper closures. Bound buttonholes are my next learning project. Thank you for this video.
My mother taught me how to sew on a power machine. She was a factory operator so she had all the quick and easy ways of doing it. I don't remember lashing the two sides together so, that will help to keep things in place. I'm just getting back into sewing after years of not sewing so, all your videos are being heard. Thanks for posting.
Bound button holes are what I was taught in school (69-74) I really hated doing them, we used metal gadget with prongs. It seemed so difficult but so far your tutorial makes me want to do them again, I like how professional they look. Thanks
How would you do it on a garment which can be turned inside out to be worn as well. I am currently making a coat which can be turned so it is 2 in 1, but the buttonholes, which I want to bind in a contrast, have me stumped.
