This episode really had some touching moments. It probably takes the prize for most heartrending line with, "Why does he hate her more than he loves me", as even though we as the audience know it's not the case, from her perspective, it's the truth, and the delivery just makes it an emotional gut punch. The fact that it was juxtaposed with one of the most touching scenes in the series when Loona looks down at the IMP logo on the lighter and realizes that she's not just talking about Stolas, and that, for all the mistakes he makes, Blitz really tries to be a good dad. I still think my favourite episode is Loo Loo Land (S01E02), but this is a close second...Truth Seekers (S01E06) dips to 3rd place as amazing action, and truly demonic horror lose out to character development, and emotional growth with me. Glad to see you two back!

The producer melted from the water, because the water contains acid (there was a warning on the wall earlier in the episode, but many reactors missed it :)

Damn im just seeing that now. Good eye. I honestly thought it was because stolas was keeping the water close to him and because hes from hell it made it so hot it burned the guy xD

It said 98% was acid and 2% sewer water and that’s really accurate to LA

I feel like I say this everytime a new episode comes out but I honestly think that this is among my top 2 favorite episodes. It might just be because I'm a sucker for things that can seem rather sad or depressing, but if those themes in a show can make me reflect and think about them then it's a big plus for why I would love that episode. There are so many things in this episode that just hits way to close to home. While not having thought it in those exact words I really had the feeling growing up that my parents really hated each other more than they loved me or my brother. And if only the similarities stopped there. Now I don't have any degrees in psychology or anything but I can recognize patterns pretty well and while this is only my personal opinion I feel like when seeing Loona in Blitz's flashback it's interesting how the other kid in her cell seems to be trying to push Loona to get violent or to act out aggressively. Which Loona of course ends up doing but right after she has had this violent outburst she crawls back into the corner looking terrified like she just realized what she did. The other thing that the way she crawls into the corner tells me is that it looks like she is trying to make herself into a smaller target which is something that people who have experienced abuse seem to learn to do, now it doesn't seem to matter if its physical or emotional abuse but some just seem to learn that as a pattern the thinking seeming to be that if you are a smaller target physically then maybe the abuser will leave you alone or at least you can protect yourself in some way. Now like I said I have no degrees in psychology or anything like that so I can only speak from my personal experiences and recognizing some patters. But I find it kinda interesting how many parallels I see from my own childhood with Loona in the flash back. I taught myself the trick of curling up and hiding in hopes of not getting yelled at and I also was that kid at school that the other students knew could get very violent if pushed to it. It took me way to long before I realized that the other kids would just try to make me angry to see if they could get me to attack someone. Anyway all of those things for Loona seem to have developed into some kind of aggression issues where even if she wants to show that she can be kind and loving she either can't allow herself to do that or it feels to her like she physically can't do it. It's the whole idea of "don't get attached and it wont hurt so much when they leave" and once again speaking from personal experiences I think that is one of the hardest things to break away from even if you can recognize that it is a thing that you do. Anyway rambling as always I really do love watching both of you react to things like this even if I don't always have anything interesting or smart to add to the conversation

Ok fun facts. Brandon Ragers is a play on Brandon Rogers, Blitz's voice actor/the co-head writer. When Octavia arrives in LA she lands on Ragers and he dies. Meaning Blitz's meltdown will be the last thing the actor was was mistaken for will be known for. The human girl dressed similar to Octavia is named Notaiva (Vivzy Pop releases the model sheets for episodes which have the names on them) Loona is only able to spark her lighter after she says a father trying is meaningful, passively acknowledging Blitz is her dad. And last along we get several "furry reminder" moments. Octavia turns her head all the way around with out moving any other part of her body. Loona makes a surprised whimper sound at the Star Owlz poster. And Stolas' laughter includes hooting sounds.

This was a great episode with a nice combination of hilarious and touching moments. Wasn't sure if you caught the meta joke about everyone mistaking Blitz for Brennan Ragers (Brandon Rogers is the name of Blitz's voice actor). Also others have commented that the guy Olivia landed on and killed when she arrived in the living world was the real Brennan Ragers.

A lot of these episodes were a lot more adult themed, but this episode while occasionally violent was actually kinda sweet in a family friendly/ish way, great message and aside from an almost romantic moment between two possibly future sisters it was beyond phenomenally beautiful. I really like Octavia and Loona, I hope they both get a lot more screen time in the future…especially Octavia if she gets a singing part….you know hence the name… 😆
