Makes me miss it so much. I went in 2002 when there was little info on the internet and my school was bad about telling me things ahead of time (like holidays or when I'd get to work and we were going on a field trip). I remember absolute confusion on teacher day when my kids brought me gifts (and November 11, someone did give me heads up for Chuseok). I remember this massive basket of baked goods from one family (taught their 5 year old all morning and part afternoon, and her 2 older sisters who had gone to Texas for 3 years to live with their uncle to learn english, in the evenings. Those 2 was mainly grammer tutoring). The thing was from a high end bakery shocked the heck out of me. The family and I became very close though I used to meet them for lunch on Saturdays before tutoring and got invited to holiday dinners. November 11 and the pockeys still is my favorite.

I’m looking into teaching English abroad. Could you do a video explaining the whole process of the training/getting hired and tips for people considering it?

I'm currently teaching in a public school in Changwon so not too far. But am starting to look at Hagwon's in Busan for March as wanting to move. Any tips on finding good Hagwon?
