Portfolio Committee on Basic Education chairperson Joy Maimela has expressed disappointment after a Queenstown Girls High School teacher got suspended for allegedly having multiple sexual relationships with learners. After a meeting with stakeholders, the school has decided to discontinue the teacher. EC Education Department spokesperson Vuyiseka Mboxela has more.

It is happening in most high schools, learners are drinking alcohol with teachers at taverns, or visit them at their places from there they sleep together.go to matric camps you will see all,they buy them toiletries,nice food from there lovers.

People who are saying it's OK because the girl has reached age of consent are misguided because it is policy that employees may not engage in relationships at their place of work. Teachers are simply not allowed to date at work, it defeats the process of education

It's a pity that parents and society are never take responsibility on the way they raise their children and shift responsibility to political parties. Who socialised these individuals about acceptable behaviour and social norms. Most individuals their behaviour good or bad is influenced by family upbringing and social norms iinstilled when growing up.
