Well a teacher normally doesn't just call names for no reason. Sometimes the students are assholes and don't give a shot about the class and fuck around.
Reginald McKinney back when I was in middle school this kid said he wanted to kill 5 black student me included and I said I’ll beat him up and I got suspended and kicked out the class.
@ChocoGamin3 oh yeah it only counts when you throwing racial slurs around but if you talk against any kind of racism in this stupid country then they want to say you're wrong in everything so whatever with BS
@@KMT631 That's fucked up. Sorry that you went through hell because of that. Also, I've been there too, and they did the same thing to me, which is not surprising. It's frustrated when teachers, coach, counselor, and principal are deaf and blind as a bat, when it comes to racism, colorism, bullying, racial slur, anti-LGBTQ+ comments, etc. But if they see someone defending themselves after someone said something racist, it's a automatic suspension.
The sad thing is, whenever a student speaks up against racist ass shit, the teacher rarely gets in trouble. More often than not, the student gets in trouble. At least that's how it was when I was in school. I'm white and grew up in a predominantly white town. I remember one of my classmates sitting next to me one day and saying that her hometown was turning into n*****town... yeah, took me seconds to call her out on that shit. Turns out, the principal didn't think it was that big of a deal and told me to stop trying to cause trouble. Hopefully, it's getting better now. At least more people are realizing that racism is so much more than just an offensive word. It's deeply ingrained into every facet of society, made to benefit straight white men and putting anyone outside of that at a disadvantage. The problem in my situation wasn't so much the girl saying the n-word. It was the person who had the authority to make a difference doing nothing and letting it happen.
Hurt me when Dee said “I’m not surprised it’s all black kids” because it just shows how horrible the world is that disgusting people like them teachers it’s not even surprising when people act like that
@Peep Dafrog well who built the country on racism ? You cant expect to build a country on foul violent energy then expect the answer to be 100% peaceful 100% comfortable to deal with.. if not 100% its atleast 89%.. that still a big percentage that needs to be addressed ..black people are held accountable by others if not their own..other races show tribalism usually and dont hold each other accountable even if they know they're wrong.. the only solution is to call out any foul energy even if its uncomfortable to do so.. even if you loose friends..real friends tell you about your shit anyway than kiss your ass and say hes an ass but imma let him slide..letting people slide makes them think their views are right. The way things are in this country stems from how it was obtained ..and the decision to bring slaves ..that's the truth.
@Peep Dafrog btw I had to retype my comment got deleted probably will be again ..youtube dont want truth out. If you care about my answer I'll have to send it to email just know I replied
This is why they should have cameras in the classroom, to see what the teacher is doing as to why a student got in trouble. Some teachers are wild and lie on some students to get them in trouble. They know the principal will take their side. Smh😞
That’s true i have seen that happen and some teachers and people that worked in school system have admitted that if a teacher don’t like a student they sometimes can lie especially if a student is known for playing a lot and if student doesn’t do anything worth suspension they can add more to the details that didn’t happen
I remember when my cousin was in middle school and he raised his hand to ask teacher could he use the restroom. She said it was a distraction because he raised his hand while a student was talking at podium. My cousin was sent to the office and was suspended but luckily I was already talking to the school social worker and mentioned it to her she didn’t agree with it all and was surprised he would be suspended for that and later on the assistant principal called and the suspension dropped.
I love when teachers Gaslight black students and say that they're overreacting when youre just simply expressing your opinion and then they want to call the principles/ the office because you're getting loud or quote on quote disrespectful and unruly
ZuRq_ Yt to be fair Obama is the first biracial president since he has a white mom and black dad. We never had a mostly or fully black president as yet
I go to an HBCU and my African American Lit Professor is a white man. I just find that so... weird lol. The idea of a white man teaching about black history and literature to majority black students is just a weird feeling. He seems like a nice guy so far though
Lol it’s not even like that y’all. I’m not hating on him and I’m not saying he’s not allowed to teach it. I just said I found it weird because of where I’m at and who I’m surrounded by. For instance if I took a Spanish class in Mexico and most of the students are Mexican and my professor is Chinese I’m gonna find it weird because I would’ve just expected someone who was also Mexican. It’s not that deep 😂 As long as they’re nice and respectful then cool 🤷🏿♀️for people who feel that my professor shouldn’t be teaching, even though I understand where you’re coming from but as long as he isn’t jumping at the chance to say nigger or be disrespectful idgaf.
When I was a junior in high school, we were reading texts in AP Language and the teacher had someone read out loud...and of course they skipped over the n-word. But then the teacher was like, “you don’t get the full effect of the text when you leave out words” and then he reread it and said the n-word...I’ve always gone to predominantly white schools but I have never in my life see a teacher so comfortable using a racial slur to a whole class, some of which was made of black students...and he was an old white man. Like the fact that I know he says that every year when he teaches the class...it’s just disturbing tbh.
Peep Dafrog no, I understood just fine. But regardless, a teacher in the public school system has no business using any sort of racial slurs for any reason. Maybe in private schools that’s acceptable but when you’re teaching the masses and you’re working for the government, that’s unacceptable.
@Peep Dafrog the issue is your point isn't solid. Just because it's in the text, doesn't mean you need to read it aloud. I had a black teacher and we were reading a book that had the n-word. My school is predominantly black but we skipped it. Just because it's written down, doesn't mean you gotta let everyone know "to all the black kids in the class." It's disrespectful to say a slur and you are not part of the community that is a slur. Like calling someone a fag if you aren't gay. Or the n-word and you aren't black. Slurs in a book should never be read aloud to kids. Ever.
@Peep Dafrog you don't know the context of the book either so? Your point is? Not saying I know but like, saying the n-word in a book and saying it isn't offensive is just retarded. Nobody has ever used that word nicely when it comes out of their mouth from someone who isn't apart of the community. Not saying self-hatred doesn't exist but fr. Aren't you the guy that thinks the girl from 7:30 is wrong?
@Peep Dafrog You are also the guy who thinks he knows anything about Africa. You are Cuban right? You know nothing of our homeland besides what they have taught you. Doesn't matter how the word was intended. You have no right to say it.
@Peep Dafrog never said i did. You can't say stuff like that and I wasn't talking about you idiot. I was talking about the teacher. He has no right to allow students to read words to other students that are offensive.
Teachers really be trying to test these students. One time my teacher tried to give me detention for me responding to her trying to anger me. She even told my mom if I apologized I wouldn’t get detention. Y’all know I didn’t apologize and went straight to the principal. She got fired that year 🙂
I can't even imagine who in charge for your school district that's worst than a my second grade teacher scaring black people by saying during the civil war white people are black people so we wouldn't fight back against her racist self
@@allureharris1336 oh and just to point out, ik so people are aware of this but just for verbatim, not all lightskin black people are mixed or half white. just like you can get lightskin FULLY indian people. you can get lightskin FULLY black people. it's legit due to 2 reasons: the climate/enviroment or a lack of melanin production. Just saying.
I would've left the building period, not the class the whole school. My school is far from home and you bet I'd be taking that damn walk home. NO WAY IM TAKING ANY OF THAT.
Teachers walk around thinking they have power, so many in my school talked shit and tried getting in people’s faces but they shit the bed when a student gets in their face
This happens in alot of private school in Africa... I remember during O'levels (11th grade) my white Food & Nutrition teacher literally said infront of a whole class of blacks "why do black people use their hands to eat.. It's so uncivilized"... (in my country its cultural acceptable eat with your hands... Like many other races do across the world)... Non of us spoke out we were scared to get lower grades especially during such a crucial exam time.. I admire Americans have proof of racism.. Most African kids in African private schools don't have proof or choose to ignore it... When we do speak up we get punished or it gets swept under the rug
Damn. I didn’t know they did my black people wrong in the motherland as well. No escape I swear....Plus white people eat sandwiches with their hands and often eat uncooked meats..Much love to y’all 🙌🏿
Just so you know, man, mexican is not a race so there are a lot of white mexicans that don't go through what black people go through and/or are racist. I've seen it
@@mahkayladiah6798 hispanic is also not a race.. I'm not saying this to be rude btw. It's just bc many americans think it is and as a hispanic/latina person, its tiring and annoying (just imagine people saying American is a race and all of you americans have the same racial experiences and struggles) For clarification: Hispanic - Person who is from Spanish-speaking countries (which includes european countries) Latino - Person who is from Latin America Spanish - A language. And also a person who is from Spain. Mexican - A nationality
I was born and raised in East Texas, and when I was in early middle school, I had a bf (who was black, I am white just for context) and there was 1 male teacher in particular who always seemingly had attitude against me, and one day he kept me after class, and confronted me on my relationship with Skyler (my then bf). Telling me "what I was doing was wrong, society says it's wrong, and I was being filthy, and I needed to be with someone who was of my own kind". I remember being so confused, not understanding what he was talking about, or what his reasoning meant. He was so angry and disgusted with me and I just didn't get it. Not until I got a little older did I understand what he was, and what the conversation meant. I really hope that man isn't teaching anymore. That's disgusting, and he's the wrong, filthy one.
When I was in 8th grade I experienced my first racist teacher and she herself was a POC. She always singled out my friends and I who were predominantly black/African, she even went as far as to one time say my friends were speaking in clicks🙄 Which they were not ofc, they were speaking in their native language and she always tried to make us feel less than, but mind you my 8th grade class was an advanced class; like they looked at people’s grades from 6th and 7th to group together in classes. We all had the highest grades among the other 8th graders. The class in itself was predominantly African (Ghanaians and Nigerians) and Hispanics, which she showed hella favoritism too and even spoke Spanish to in class.
*Where I live, there are mostly black and Hispanic people. The white people just started moving here and are basically, taking over half of the town (closer to the beach). It is always weird when I see a white student (not teacher because most of our teachers are white) in my school because there aren’t many because our school is in the “ghetto”, but we do get along with the white students very well and quickly, befriend them. The white students seem more openminded than their parents, but I still be skeptical (΄◉◞౪◟◉`)*
This is why my mom put me in an all black Christian private school. There wasn't one student or teacher that wasn't black. And bc of this I didn't face racism in school.
I'm lucky it was none of my history teachers. It would usually be any other random teacher for me. Theatre too, that's mostly we're all the racist were at. I had one teacher push me to the side and I had to go out and calm down before I ended bashing her head into the light board. I was even working with a parent (not mine) and she didn't even have the gall to speak up, telling me outside the room "that wasn't right". Then why didn't you say anything. She never apologized, and I could see why all the seniors hated her.
I think around the age of 11 or 12 I really started speaking up with teachers. I wasn't disrespectful but if they said something stupid or unfair I had NO problem saying what I had to say.
Crazy how people become teachers just so they can have power over people and nearly do whatever the fuck they want with you. If you get in their bad side they’ll try so fucking hard to fail you.
There ain’t no better way to handle this you do it The calm and collect way and then they think they can just walk all over you I have dealt with teachers like these and I have shut every last one of them down I do Agree sometimes the calm and collect is best but sometimes you have to show them that you’re not scared and you’re not going back down that doesn’t mean put your hands on them tho I have had teachers put the hands on me and then I retaliated and I got in trouble so yes sometimes the calm and collect way works
When I was in 1st grade my white teacher didn't want me to put my stuff with the rest of the kids. I started crying because I didn't understand what she was on about then she grabbed me, put me in a chair at the corner of the room by myself the whole day. She kicked me out her class then put me as a non English speaker. Then I had a fifth grade teacher that called me a failure and a pathological lair. Then another teacher freshman year of high school called me a retarded, worthless and that I was never gonna amount to anything.
Hey, I read a lot of your comments ya’ll and since I’m going to be training to be a history teacher in a couple of months; explain to me the changes and rules that you feel should be in a middle-high school classroom?
See that's why i like my school cause we never had a racist problem we have a mix of teachers and coaches and administrators everyone is treated the same in sports and in class we all get along well i mean their is fights but never cause of a racist issue.
I liked how the third one reacted to the situation, he was calm and composed and exposed the teacher with words and commons sense. I'm not saying the others were wrong but the way they went about it was too much. Racists people among white folks like to treat us like were some savage uncivilized animals, and that won't change by just threatening who ever insults us. We should be educating ourselves more and show them that we are just as smart as anyone else and in their case, smarter because racism is one of the dumbest shit ever. Anyone who's truly racist is dumb as hell. This is something that we should fight with intelligence and composure, not brutal force.
Dee!! You should react to "Lana del ray speaks to Azeaila Banks" by the channel 'Paro deez' and "Aretha Franklin speaks on Gaga , beyonce, drake + (parody tribute)" by the same channel
Bruh, my elementary school teacher was old af. She was low-key a fascist. The black kids were treated like shit. They would get in trouble without doing anything. I joined them bcs I was treated like shit for being mentally ill, but when it came to punishments, I'd get something less severe bcs I'm white. So if I said that I was "acting out" along with them, we would get less harsh punishments. It was really bad for this one girl, bcs she had the darkest skin out of all the other black kids. She was fucking stalked almost by that teacher. If she breathed wrong, she'd get punished. We're 20 now and when she talks about elementary school she still gets really upset. That shit traumatized her. That's why it pisses me off when ppl say kids don't see racism. Only white kids don't see racism, we can do that bcs we're not met with it daily.
