Hi, it is not that American teachers fear school rules. American schools are ruled by parents whatever they say, that’s how it goes. We, teachers working in American schools, are suffocated and disagreed with this behavior. Not even Principals have the power to do anything. We have bills to pay and families to support. That's one of the main reasons why we stay and can't do anything but write discipline reports that can take up to one hour for each student. After watching this video, the idea of teaching in Africa crossed my mind ❤
We were made to go out and pick stones because we were unable to answer a question in class and I'm talking nursing training college not high school or primary o😂
@cherietaylorsmall5764 that is so true. I had to tell the teacher not to punish my daughter for the whole class. She was the youngest and best behave, and she was punished because of the others. Please sir, not my small, small child...☹️
One day in biology class my friend whispered to me that the teacher had drawn amoeba like a blouse. I burst out laughing. Teacher asked me to share with the class. To this day 30 years later my arms are still paining from my punishment.😂 Africa is not for beginners😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 hmmm, i went to school in Ghana, my first eleven years of my life, and the rest in England, I remember all of my Ghana teachers and not many of my England teachers 😅
During school days we will have our physics teacher for one period (45minutes)he will use extra 3 periods to teach Sometimes break time, and you dare not misbehave😅
If not paper throwing, other things happen. My economics teacher then wore a see-through shirt showing his turned singlet. My classmate, while on the platform for coming late to class, was making reference to the singlet while the teacher was writing on the board.(those of us in the classroom didn't take note until she started pointing at it. It was funny then.😂
Not during my school days at Holy Names high school in 1974. Most of the nuns were Americans, so we remained seated. How i miss those good days. Children respected teachers. 😅😅😅😅😅
We learnt algebra in class 2 (year two in England) but I grew up in Africa by the time you are an adult. You know so much that people deem you a genius (meanwhile.... You are just an ordinary person doing extra ordinary things..... Simple as that 😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤😂😂😂
The most surprising thing I’ve seen this week is how that student mustered up the courage to toss the teacher that paper. Did she have a death wish?😂😂😂
Weeeeee especially the 90's and early 2000's that era was not for the faint of heart 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.the teachers would even give you a beating in the weekends in your own streets just for playing around and our parents would commend the teachers for doing a good job..we actually feared teachers more than God😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The whole class would be out scrubbing the school, toilets and kneeling on hard concrete as they await their punishment. Ugandan teachers don't take familiarity sitting 😂😂😂
@@evekane2423in my high school on Uganda they suspended the whole class and told us to bring padlocks because some group of stubborn girls decided to continually spoil those padlocks and we were in preparations of s4 exams. Fear Ugandan schools!🙌🏾
I'm Ugandan and this is so us😂😂. The whole class could actually be penalized seriously for this. The moment you even dare reply in such manner?? Heeeeiiii!! No wonder we turn out a little different in Africa compared to other continents. 😂😂😂
Keep the African spirit alive, some Africans were getting their "PHd" at a young age. So please never stop teaching and discipline these children to become great citizens and achievers....🎉
I remember in French class someone greeted the French teacher Ekaro(good morning in yoruba) instead of Bonjour. The teacher asked who said that and no one answered.. He told all of us to come out into the sun and lie sleep.. For 30 minutes we were forgotten under the sun, and our uniforms were plain white. The sun was scorching hot, trust northern sun😂😂😂. We were glad we didn't rat out our guy tho. Funny thing is that it was the teacher's son that played that joke😂😂😂
Maths classes at my school when I was in class 8 were picture perfect playgrounds. Even the teacher became one of us (I mean he used to run behind the students who would trouble him and they would be like "come catch me if you can") huh! Can't stop laughing thinking about it. Sir once tore someone's uniform accidentally 😂
I love my African Teachers. I went to high school in Africa and got my college degree in America. I experienced cultural shock when I was in college. I heard students calling professors by their names and I was shocked. In Africa we say Sir or Ma.
When I was in school 19 years ago and one the boy in my class threw a paper or chalk by mistake on the board, the teacher hanged him upside down in the balcony on a second floor. When principal saw this from the ground floor, he screamed make sure you hanged him tight so he doesn’t fall down. I am from India 😂😂
The accuracy of African teachers chaii 😂😂😂😂😂 I wonder why we have different countries names because there is no different whether you are from western or Eastern middle, south or north it's like we come from the same house hold😂😂😂😂
How I loved my African and Caribbean teachers. They would say you students have all the latest technology back in my country we studied in the dark with no thoughts😂
