Hi Susan, I always admire how you display your date on your whiteboard, did you make it yourself or did you buy it on TPT? If you bought it can you share where to buy it? Thank and I love your videos- so helpful!
Always love your tips. I noticed the Math Teaching Slides haven't been updated with the Fact Family activity, yet. Do you plan to update that soon, since you featured it on this video? Thanks!
I must’ve forgotten to update the file with the new slides! I will do it when I get home and you can re-download to grab all the new slides/activities!
This is a great practical video! We are teaching the same in my first grade class. I will definitely use these ideas. I use two different colored cubes instead of the two sided disks, but I liked those better. Thank you for your time in presenting these videos.
Thanks for sharing so many practical ideas and tips. It's so great that you are an actual classroom teacher using all these lessons and strategies. It's so real.
Hello. I was a member of your math club until recently and have many of your whole class slides. I can't seem to find the one on fact families. Is it new? Is it mixed in with another? If it is new, can I buy it individually? Thanks!
Hi Sandra! The slides get added to every month - the fact families one was one I just added for November! Shoot me an email and I can get you more info!
Yes! That is included in my whole group teaching math slides! I’m updating them with new lessons and activities throughout the year as I make them! Those are here: bit.ly/SJTmathslides
Is the fact family house in your math club? I really like the visual. I see the free file with sheets. But I'm referring to the single house where you had kids roll 2 dice, then add them to create the 3 numbers for the family.
Yes! I LOVE IXL! I like assigning quizzes. My kids love us doing the group jams together. Where did you buy your task card boxes from? What is the name of these exact cards in your store?
The task cards themselves are on TPT here: www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/First-Grade-Math-Task-Cards-The-BUNDLE-growing-9923616 The box I store them in is here: www.amazon.com/dp/B07M7V7WC8?ref=nb_sb_ss_w_as-reorder-mobile_k0_1_9&=&crid=1UP0J0UQ2Z1WI&=&sprefix=photo+box And yes! We love IXL too! Whenever we are done with the skills, students love to play the games on there too!
