I was very lucky to have grown up essentially on the grounds of US Naval Academy; as a military dependent until 20 yrs of age could go pretty much anywhere on campus, used to watch the midshipmen training and practicing on rings and bars, and in summers high divers. There was, in the 60's and 70's, a Saturday afternoon show "ABC Wide World of Sports", used to watch a lot of the gymnastics and wonder "how do you do some of these feats the FIRST time????" The balance beam is to me one really amazing part of the gymnastics world. One miniscule mistake, or instant of loss of focus...... pretty amazing the focus they keep, but again, how to do those FIRST-time routines????

Lord Do.No. This isn’t similar to calisthenics or street workouts, for them you need a lot of strength. For this you mostly need air... it’s my opinion and it’s what I see, correct me if I’m wrong.

@@mr.nature3466 Most of this is gaining momentum from the bar's flexibility, or from running, or from your hips, etc... Incredibly impressive, but if you look at gymnastics 100 years ago, when they did it on steel bars - it looked a lot like current day street workout. The only exception I see is the ring. That stuff is pure strenght and.control. Anyone who has ever done anything on a pair of rings knows that what these guys are doing is practically insane. The power and the levle of control here is just... damn. If I could do 1/10 of this, I'd hang out all day at the gym showing off.

@@mr.nature3466 Gymnastics is the hard version of StreetWorkout, and I'm talking as a StreetWorkout guy. I've been doing SW and gymnastics and the two sports are really different. In street Workout we work on the same static holds but it is very rare to see someone performing them on rings. Plus, High Bar is like the clean version of streetWorkout Freestyle. I'm not hating, again, I love both and today I'm only doing SW. We just need to admit that Gymnasts are way better than us.

Because nobody likes us. There also just isn't enough of is to get coverage that would make money.

^^^Ya pretty much, The US in particular really separates the coverage of MAG and WAG although they have gotten better this year. Other countries show equal attention regardless of the performance level of the athletes, like Australia

+Sally Vee wouldn't say far best, both men and women do different things in gymnastics with men mostly focusing on strength and iirc they go through 6 instead of 4 like women

Not trying to be sexist or anything, but the sports that get the most attention are soccer, football, hockey, basketball, ect. Which are usually considered "masculine" sports. We need this for once.

dood I plugged up the toilet. about overclocking, similar to your gaming power. your computer uses a lot of cpu power to run the video. how many computers have you hooked up for gaming? do you have a network?

Boku I connected a lenovo, macbook and a dell inspiron through a crossover ethernet cable. Then connected this to a Harmony hub from logitech. But only two of the laptops are showing up on my screen. Also, I am getting a network connectivity error with the dell inspiron. Also how can I secure this network? Is your network working properly Boku?

No, but Andreas Brettschneider does double twisting kovacs, wich are a sight to behold. He's also done double twisting streched kovacs back to back with double twisting kovacs in training, but never completed them in competition. He's had both shoulders injured and is currently recovering from surgery, so that goes to show how insanely taxing the sport is on the body.
