Can confirm with the lean buttons being on mouse, was introduced to it during our coaching sessions and my PvP has improved so much that I even changed the bind in other games. Many thanks Gen
Seriously now, who doesn't default to them? I remember the first time I played a game that had character leaning, pubg back in 2017, and I couldn't bear using q and e and immediately switched to mouse buttons and proceeded to bind more useful things that aren't supposed to be used in conjunction with the a and d keys right below. Like unless you're new to gaming and PCs in general I don't see how you wouldn't figure this out pretty quick.
@@vali69 i mean the best players in the world in tarkov/pubg/r6 ar almost all using q e for leaning xd, i would never fuck up my musclememory by having to have my thumb on sidebuttons xd // lvl 10 faceit//immo3 valo// 15k+ hours infps games here
@@vali69 I mean by simply switching q and e so that e is for left and q for right will allow you to do so much more, my muscle memory just to much to switch to mouse,
bro ur srsly the best PVP content creato rn. gigachad gaming and knowledge dropping while doing so. very entertaining and helpfull. prob learned more pvp theory than i could pick up in 3k hours. keep going brotherman
This 17:35 1v1 sequence with the guy in the hallway is eye opening as a new player. We would love for an updated peeking guide explaining how to do this, with a keyboard overlay. I personally would be grateful. Great quality vids lately bro. 🙏
it mostly just comes down to making sure you don't build up too much inertia. You wanna move as little as possible so you don't have any extra time to build up speed which will make it take longer to change directions. So start as close to the angle as possible and peek out as little as possible. Practicing in the hideout helps quite a bit. I'd recommend starting by just practicing peeking out while leaning and crouching and then just holding the angle instead of moving back. Once you get the hang of precisely taking an angle it's pretty easy to get the timing to jiggle peek like this. The hard part is even if you have the mechanics down everything goes to shit when you're in an intense fight and your hands are shaking lmao
Just practice. He's strafing left and right with precise timing to glitch out the inertia system which allows you to change direction back into cover super quickly, and throwing in a quick right lean with it.
@@noviceexpert1715he’s not glitching anything, when you have high level skills, stims, and your under weight then you aren’t affected by inertia as much
Just started tarkov so im a noob been watching jesse and enjoying his videos and now watching you play takes it to a whole new level, enjoy the videos and learning thanks
One day after a good sim racing session i decided to hop on some r6. I still had my pedals under my desk. After running into this same problem, i downloaded a program to allow me to use my gas pedal as E and my clutch as Q. It has been such a game changer for any FPS including a lean mechanic.
Youre the first person Ive seen that also puts lean on mouse forward and back. Thats how I've set mine up since i started playing. I feel like my control over my character and gun handling is so much better with my mouse setup. I'll lay it out here, hopefully it inspires something for y'all. I have the G604 with 6 side buttons and two extra buttons on top. Lean L/R - Forward Back buttons Slow leans - cntrl + forward/back Overhead / side cover fire - alt + frwd/bck Change scope - scroll left Change scope zoom - scroll right Tactical on/off - side button Tactical switch - cntrl + side button Switch shoulder - top button (originally DPI down) I use Q key for taunt and E key for fire mode and cntrl+E press/release for check malfunction/fix malfuntion
I have my lean, shoulder swap, voip, free look, flashlight, fire mode, heals and guns all bound to my razer naga with 12 buttons on the side. We are a more elite breed of gamer for sure xD
I've been told I was weird for having my leans on my mouse, and I try to explain to my friends that it limits my movement when I use the Q and E lean and they just don't believe me - cool to see someone else doing the same
Razer Tartarus is underutilized in my opinion. Been using one since 2014 to play WoW and my hands are too big for a keyboard. It’s really good for peeking in Tarkov since you can use your left thumb on the analog stick while still using WASD to move. The idea of using Q and E to peek sounds utterly insane to me. 😂
Lol yeah, I have had the same bit happen with me twice inside the marked room near the train hard station barracks on Reserve, when I already got one stimmy case in the pouch and I find two in that room & I can only pick one up. No buddy with me too on both occasions. Unreal ruble transactions 4 the win. Having the shoulder swap button and peeks on the mouse for thumb clicks - that is thumbs up imho
Practice bro, it's so natural and intuitive now. I'm a pretty big guy myself and know what you mean, it kinda changes my grip on the mouse but I think you'll get used to it.@@ItIsYouAreNotYour
I just recently switched over to my lean keys on my mouse. Already on my way to learning how to lean like a General! Keep up the amazing kills, and I hope I don't run into the other end of your barrel out there xD
I can pretty easily press Q E A D S W combos with 1 finger on 2 keys, which has worked well for me. I'm not as motivated as you to min/max key binds in EFT. I burned myself out on that with super complex scripts in Quake 1 (all comms key bound, plus movement, etc) before we had voice comm many years ago :)
I used to use side mouse buttons for leaning for the reason General mentioned but I found my aim to be worse because of the extra tension in my hand. I switched to Z and X and use my thumb to lean and now I get the best of both worlds.
First time I saw one of your videos. I subbed before I even saw the video itself because your intro is 🔥🔥🔥 Edit: Daym bro you making this shit look like you playing call of duty.
So interesting, I've always had lean bound to my side mouse buttons since as far back as PUBG, so I had never even considered that people with lean bound to default Q and E bindings would be unable to circle strafe and lean simultaneously, because I've never played like that.
Iirc you could've picked up that other injectors case using a trick. You would've put the first one in your backpack, then drop the backpack, put the second one in your gamma, and then pick up the backpack. The only weird thing about the extra item in the bag is that you can't move it.
GloriousE is my favourite streamer, however, you might be my 2nd favourite now. Been playing this for a long time, but man if I could borrow your skill for at least a day that would make things so much easier :D
Lean on mouse is S-tier , recently made the switch and quickly got use to it now I could never go back , also having smooth lean on Q & E instead is even better
Thanks for the tip. Will prob change this, always did the qe with the flipped from default hack. But was wondering what advantage does this give. Do you get better peak adv coming around a corner with a lean or is it that your head wiggles in a larger arc if you can strafe+lean
hate to brake it to you but at 9:57 you were able to get the 3rd injector case you just need to make a slot in your bag or rig before being able to put it in your pouch
Dude’s movement, aiming, stash manipulation… on a whole other level. Incredible. Also, Jesse’s reaction to the ghost nade and his thumbnail from his perspective video… 😂 🤣 ☠️
i can press d and e at the same time and s with my middle finger doing that rotation thing while peeking and i can mix everything up to juke a bit shit like that. so i was kinda confused when you said that you can't do that with wasdqe keys
What I find weird is that you cant really ad strafe with current inertia system in place as it makes it so you cant insta switch direction but when hitting w or s in between all of the sudden you can change direction fast between left and right strafe. That doesn’t make much sense to me and is the reason while circle strafing is meta. Basically pre inertia strafing with extra steps.
What’s ye thumb doin other than just sitting there. I’ve been using lean on my mouse for like ever now and once you get used to it man it frees up your left hand
I believe this approach is outdated now since they added a left shoulder pivot to reduce exposure during left leaning peeks. Karmakut has it down pat. Trying to figure out best keybinds to use this (I have the same mouse).
Why do you unbind right mouse to aim on your g502 and bind it to ] instead of the normal right mouse button? I dont see why you would need to re-bind right button to aim and then re-bind it to a key and then rebind that key to your right mouse button?
So i have my leans on mouse. I also have a g502 but i can not bind the other buttons in tarkov. if i set the default dpi button as alt it will not hold breath. Tarkov doesnt recognize it in the controls as a button either. Not sure what to do but would love to bind the other buttons on the mouse. How have you been able to do so
At 14:00 how do I bind that in game? I tried looking for the option in logitech hub but it would only allow me to use dpi shift, if I mapped it to for example f13 it would not work either
Anyone notice that Jesse Kazaam never dies a normal death? It’s always due to a sound glitch, or bug, or magic shot, or lucky nade. The dude complains constantly and just throws a semi-positive pitch onto his griping. His formula: Complain about something and add a chuckle to soften the whining.
9:20 thats funny because i went to that marked room and it was already opened , but with an injector case still in the room. i figured someone didn't see it
Had a team mate throw a nade down the stairs with barbed wire on ground zero and it bounced back into the room and killed us all lol. Definitely a new bug.
Before they had the shoulder change this wipe I always had right lean on my mouse not left lean haha love the movement just gotta get the Ferrari peak down
Yeah same shit as Jesse, tried throwing a grenade through a bush at a pushing PMC and it for some reason had a hard hitbox and bounced back at me. Made me panic and ended up giving the guy the kill.
NoGen is the guy that when his teammate who is obviously worse than him and gets himself killed instead of ridiculing him he says, " It's all good you're just making things interesting."
