Thank you for sharing your recipe. Seth's expression was priceless when he realized what an enormous recipe you've been using. I hope he has a wonderful university experience.
That’s such a sweet thing to do together before he leaves! I am just starting college this year as well, and I think those gestures from parents before leaving mean a lot. ❤ It’s a way he can bring a part of you with him, even if far away. I hope he does well this year and learns a lot!
Congratulations on Seth’s beginning college! It makes a huge difference in a persons development and future opportunities. Take a victory lap Frieda! Be proud of yourself and of your son! You did well!
I’m feeling so emotional about it all. I thought it would be really good for him to go away but I’ve raised him my entire adult life and I’m not sure how to go into this new phase! Life, right?
@@friedavizelclips exactly! Your job as a Mom is never done - the role just changes at times like this. I love to celebrate milestones while being optimistic about the future. It’s no small accomplishment to get to this point - I have been there.
What a fun video, and it does seem to make a large amount. How is Seth enjoying college so far ? Visiting is always good. My mother would show up randomly. You are farther away for random visits. There is always Zoom.
Good luck to Seth and to you in coping with him leaving. Fortunately, now there is Facetime. It's not the same as being there but it sure helps a lot. Thank you for sharing your recipe Frieda. Have a good shabbat. ❤🍞
@@friedavizelclips you need to use at least 5 pounds to make a Bracha, and if making a recipe with 3 pounds, you take off "challah" without making a Bracha.
Is your son ok? I don’t mean to be nosy…. It looks like he has a bruise under his right eye 😞. I hope it was a simple accident & not something that happened because he is Jewish. I pray he is given Wisdom by God. That he learns all he needs to know but is able keep the good knowledge & weed out the worldly things that are put out there by some professors.
How is Seth doing; How does your family feel about him going to college? My grandparents where violently against higher learning. Only my second cousin holds Higher Education degrees. We have mixed feelings about it; That is actually a great topic for a video. "CHASSIDIM AND (COMPLICATED RELATIONSHIP WITH) COLLEGE" I heared there are special programs for actively religious people. The Israeli government really supports them.
Hi Ariel! Lots of hasidic family members are lecturing him about the terrible idea it is to go to college. I’m not sold on college very much either so I get where they are coming from. It’s a very good discussion. But we are all very excited for this adventure. Seth is going to Carlton in Minnesota so the main point is he’ll be far from home on a great adventure.
@@friedavizelclips Thanks, college has it's pros and cons; It's a lovely place to have new experiences; Explore new ideas; and learn valuable skils. Make life long friends. However; Charming cult leaders love to hang out there. Forcing their ideals onto freshmen. PragerU, and the M.S.A* are prime examples. Seth should read Freedom of mind before attending. (it's a book on sneaky brainwashing tactics) *Muslim Student Association. Another thing is the verry real danger of those pro-Palestine lunatics violently protesting.
@@friedavizelclips Minnuhsoda??? I hope he's ready for the Winters! You betcha! I grew up in "Lake Wobegone Montana" so I was surrounded by people of Norwegian descent. Like those found in Minnesota. Good people. Highly cultured.
