Peach is honestly a genius. in just a few minutes she went from randomly slapping the air until she hits it to actually looking for the bell and controlling her movements to hit it. She was so good she didn't even need to be told the command to know "BELL IS FOOD. WANT FOOD. TOUCH BELL."
@@KuraYou are you thinking about dogs tho? Because it takes a few for them to actually understand these things. Unless theyeve been doing this for hours and only filmed the last part.
Actually, if a dog is used to be trained they learn tricks like this pretty quickly. With a clicker you can easily shape your dogs behaviour. It gets harder with distraction

Lol I have ADHD and Anxiety. I knew there was a reason for my blind adoration of them. (Marbles too though because I suck at directions and never know where I am).

There are these puzzles for dogs on amazon with different levels of difficulty, theyre supposed to like test their intelligence and you guys should get them and test the dogs
From what I could see at 9:35 , it's good that you're using plain dog food instead of fatty treats. I was worried that it would be to much if it was giant treats, but when you use kernels of dog food, it keeps their hunger drive and still isn't going to make a huge difference to their diets. Thank you for always looking out for your animals Chenna and Chulian. You are truly good animal parents.
Both of them are literally obese for italian greyhounds. It's hard to watch julien and jenna gorge them with treats in some videos, even though it's out of love.
Peach is like the gamer who presses any buttons rlly fast when learning how to play, and Cermit patiently learns what each button does on the controller
The way julien and Jenna are so proud and patient with paesh and cermit just makes me so happy,, they’d totally be great parents with a human child. But honestly dog children are the best
So I taught my corgi to play a toy piano for treats when I say play for mommy. Then we are now at the point where when he wants/demands a treat he just walks over a slams his paw and woofs like he’s a little kid on a grand piano. Makes me laugh...until he does it at 3am and you just hear this piano chime in the dark and a little boof. Hid the piano for a year and pulled it out recently. Sure does remember after all that time.

Lol I noticed that too. In the experiment, it's fine to just let them hear it and get a treat/ praise at first. Most dogs don't automatically ring the bell or know what it is.
If any of you guys decide to do this with your dogs, it makes a really great mental exercise! Take their dinner and use that as the treats and they will get a lot of mental stimulation out of it :) good way to enrich your pup’s life. cats can definitely do this too by the way, but you gotta be a lot more patient teaching them lol. In general, this training is a form of touch targeting and there are many many things you can do with your dogs when they understand the concept. For example, I started with basic touch targeting and evolved it into my German Shepherd taking my socks off for me. She loves it and it helps me out on bad pain days :)
We bell trained Kashew to ding a bell to tell us when he needs to pee, but.... he dings it when he's hungry, when he's lonely, when he's bored, when he's scared, when the garbage truck comes up the street, when he wants attention, and when he needs to go outside. Basically, he has us trained lol
@@ashsilva7021 everytime we would let the dogs out to pee, we would ding the bell so they would associate the noise with going outside. Now Kashew just dings it for fun. Kado never learned how to ding it, he just yelled across the house 😂
