We did an experiment on week 1 and a project Week 2 but other than that. It's hard to do experiments when my school cannot provide the materials we need for experiments
I went ahead and ordered electrical circuits for physical sience with batteries and part of earth science. Volcano and safety glasses/goggles still to come. Pre-shipment estimate of arrival is Tuesday 9/17 with towel dispenser arriving approximately a week later.
I want to send you some science models to go with your new science books. Can you tell me what order you plan on teaching these books? That way I can send materials in order to augment the book activities. Things I have in mind include safety glasses, a working volcano, rotating planets, mini planetarium ceiling light, rock and mineral samples, fossils, plant and human cell models, the earth's crust and core model, and anatomy systems. I looked at the table of contents of each book and went in search for teaching aids for each. I hope these 3-D items will make the topics more real and fun for your students.
