Zeb is amazing at 19, the excellent care you take with your horses is really paying off for him. I think the universe means for you to keep Kato, maybe steeplechasing as he's such a speed demon! Intermediate and above for both of these boys I think. Bogey time - think be90 or steady Hunter pace, Speed is like s*** off a shovel. Go you good thing.

I'm confused at 17:32 you said you felt nervous because you've never lead before, but you just lead with Kato. Am I missing something? Or were you uncomfortable because you and Zeb were doing the Intermediate and you'd never lead an intermediate before?

What is the 2nd jacket you put on ? I know the back protector but is the 2nd one an air jacket or something ? This video really highlights Zeb's talent....his groundcovering stride and his streamlined athleticism over a jump. What a horse, Ashley !

Ashley - Zeb is amazing. He is exactly the type of horse I love. He is right, it’s all about the XC! I’ve been watching a bunch of team chasing and the golden and silver button. Here in the USA, something like the team chase is called a hunter pace. Often, the time to win is merely the average of all the times 😂 so it’s kind of silly, but it’s still always fun to get a ribbon, and ride out with friends. I haven’t evented or gone on any hunter paces in the last few years, but watching Zeb has me feeling it is something I need to go and do again. With the right horse, like Zeb, there isn’t much else in the world as fun. Great job with him, and enjoy the teamwork you both have developed. I can see him easily doing the Open, although I agree, when you know what you know from combined training events, their speed seems crazy!😮 If there was a horse I would do it on though, it would be one like Zeb. He was made for it! Thank you for posting your activities. I hope that watching will eventually have me return to what was once the largest part of me. Have fun! I look forward to seeing more of your posts.

Athena’s first ever team chase was leading the cunning stunts around the intermediate at Tur Langton. Planning on doing the one on 26th March and the 2nd April if you are up for it? So much fun and cheaper than eventing 😅x

Team chasing is so frustrating! Novice is super slow but intermediate is quite fast but you can never be sure
