theseinstrumentals it’s also important to understand that these scraps are just a selection from hours and hours of rehearsals. They’re not always this funny, off the cuff jokes don’t always work. A fully non scripted show is too risky for a network to invest in as it’s not a sustainable format, not to mention the scripted stuff is very often good and funny. Plus his interviews are only scripted in as much as the topics are usually pre-discussed but we still get to see him respond and be witty in real-time. I love the scraps and I’m glad they upload them, but to say they should replace the show is pushing it too far, and probably a bit insulting to the writers who work hard to bring sketch, segment and monologue ideas.
