interesting you swapped out og shocks l though that they where perfectly tuned ? apart from zrs caps ....that chassis looks nice but for a big hassle to swap everything around ..ill just go with the 7075 exact swap😅
@MuscleAKAOzzy The setup simply works. This is video one. There's a second video. Also, a video at the Meat Pit at Aldos. And through all of that, plus several bashes not filmed, it took it all. No breaks. Imo the chassis setup balances the rig better. And creates more space for the individual components. But this is rc bashing. You do it how you want. There are no rules. 👊
Ed where did you find a 50t spur gear? and are you using the stock motor mount? I finished my complete ADU build of this car and dropped the Spur down to a 46t with the stock motor and pinion gear…..I can’t run with this setup, the gears don’t even touch with the ADU motor mount.
@WilliamWhite-bo6nu Sorry. At the time of this video I wasn't aware that the stock Spur gear is actually a 52 tooth. In this video I'm running stock spur and a 17 tooth pinion. Stock center diff mount. With ADU Chassis. Stock Kuron 2050kv motor.
@WilliamWhite-bo6nu Another bit of information......the stock differentials are a 3.3 gear ratio with a 43 tooth ring gear and 13 tooth pinion. This actually gives the Asuga more speed potential in comparison to the EXB Arrma differentials. Which are a 4.3 ratio. I go through all of this in my Typhon vs Asuga video. Which I do plan on revisiting. Since I've learned a good bit since.
I installed them before Arrmageddon 2024. Went through a battery hotting the long jump. Went through a battery at the bash pit. Filmed this video. Have since done 2 park bashes and one ramp bash. Tires are still good. They've performed awesome!
I haven't actually weighed it. I couldn't give real numbers. It's definitely heavier than the original. But it did almost nothing to hinder performance. You really don't notice it when driving.
