Team-Losi 8ight-T .28 Nitro Truggy Unboxing - Review & First Start - Nitro Made Easy For Newbies 

I was watching this in my room at like 11 and my dad walked in and told me to go to bed and he realized I was watching a Nitro RC car reveal or unboxing. I guess he got so excited about it that he literally told me to put it on TV😂😂

Honestly great vid, and yeah it’s a truck that is made easy for people new to the hobby, but honestly I’ve always seen this truck(I have one, and it’s never been a problem) as the nitro truck I can grab and it just works,no questions asked, I have a lot of nitros, so when I go out to drive it’s nice to have one that I know will work for sure without issue, and this truck is amazing at that!

Great Video! I just ordered one of these Eight T's last night 😁. It has been over 20 years since I last ran a Nitro back in my Kyosho Inferno days running a Pico P3 motor, my Tmaxx with Os.18 and my long lost but never forgotten Rc10gt with a Novarossi .12. So let me tell you somthing, I CAN NOT WAIT to get those water blisters between the fingers from pull starting again!🤣🤣

I see your getting into nitro.. here's my two cents. Getting rid of a starter on the engine will be the best thing you can do for tuning. Get a backplate and starter box . The leak a ton of air through the bussing on the starter shaft. It's a fact. the engines hold a tune and run so much better with a sealed backplate. .

@5:10 gotta source parts online cause these trucks are old stock. No parts from Horizon unless you get kit parts in witch you have to get several other parts to complete the new assembly.

I like mine. But my Robtronic Mantis is my favorite. My Hellfires are ok but not as good as the eight

I remember when this was around 400$ when it first came out

When I was young I used to put 10% in my breakfast cereal but now that I am older and have more experience with tuning I prefer to use 25 or 30% in my cereal to start the day right

You know what would of helped sell more nitro vehicles in my opinion? If Engineers would of designed them all to have the exhaust go out the rear of the vehicle so they would not be so messy. I mean I love the sound and smell, but I’m not a fan of the mess….lol That truggy looks awesome, enjoy.

The only problems I’ve had with my losi 8 is the servos and I broke a front bumper once but that was my fault I’d say just upgrade the servos and upgrade the header and these buggies and truggies are mint

I like the look of this losi 8t i havent ran my losi 8xt with my lrp engine has had 3 tanks of fuel preheat on each tank need to run some more fuel in it just waiting for a reciever box as i lost it whilst i was building it stupid me but when i get it ill be running it in on 4 more tanks

WAS a race brand?? They still are a huge competitor, however their competition kits are branded TLR. In which I highly recommend if you want to race rather than play in your backyard or fields. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with racing an RTR, but all the weak points will show up much faster requiring replacement, so honestly spending the extra cash would save you in the long run, the competition have all the upgrades like the aircraft aluminum chassis, shock caps, knucles, shock towers...ect ect.... For beginners though, thereis nothing wrong with starting off with an RTR for learning how to race competitively. Most bashers do not realize how much harder on the vehicle it is running on a track with 12 or more at one time. Its way more punishing than even jumping the car 20 feet in the air on grass. Again, I am no way shape or form saying one should buy a kit to race, I was a sponsoerd driver about 6 or so years ago. This is just my advice to help some people make that hard decision when buying an R/C for the first time. Really just go out and get what you can afford and HAVE FUN!!...that is the key and exactly what its all about in this great hobby. BTW...Best advice in the video is the heat cycle for break in, never just idle an engine for break in...its a complicated exploration on why..maybe get a temp gun and use a hair dryer to pre heat the engine as well. Great video!! Take care Edit: My mistake, after doing some research I see they actually now use T6 aluminum for the chassis on the RTR. Thats huge..

Looks like they upgraded the transmitter, mines about 2 years old and has a bigger one

Can you put a bigger motor on just by switching it? No mods needed?

The only upgrade I’d do, Is the diffs. The RTR Version to my knowledge has the 2 pinion gear diffs. While the Kit Version comes with the Stronger 4 pinion gear diffs. Nice price though 👍🏻

The price on these has gone way up. I'm pretty sure when my friend bought his, they were $399 & the buggy version was $349. Pre-heating the engine to about 200 really helps starting a brand new engine. I always pre-heat all my nitros now & starting is much easier.

Does this thing flip on a dime? The slash and traxxas slayer always want to flip when I'm braking and I think I has to do with the Single brake that controls all wheels.

I always go for maximum cringe on everything I do.
