This video is an entry submission in the 2023 IAEA Students' Competition on the benefits of Nuclear Sciences: GC67. The three-member team from the University of Malawi (UNIMA) is proposing a project to use nuclear science to test the use of isotopic techniques in the quantification of the amount of nitrogen fertilizers applied to different crops in Malawi. The project has the potential to improve farming practices and ensure food security in the country and beyond. The team is comprised of Elias Seda, Enita Ebiyamu, and Grasswell Mkanda and is being supervised by Mr Vincent Peheliwa.
