I haven't read much into this, but that's the part that's gonna be real hard to justify, even with their non-interference thing. They didn't interfere when a mad warlord was trying to delete half the universe, what could possibly top that that they now have to interfere?

@Tired Human If they revealed themselves, they wouldn't necessarily have to place all the cards on the table. If they're all Captain Marvel tier, just one or two could have been enough, and they could just disappear mysteriously after doing their thing. No one had to know they were even based on Earth around the clock. The reasons given are sufficiently contrived that they basically amount to a handwave. I guess that's not the end of the world if you're gonna do cool things with it, but it probably could have been avoided.

Box office numbers for Shang-Chi and Black Widow beg to differ. Edit: Some of y’all are spreading misinformation and don’t know basic economics. Black Widow and Shang-Chi box office openings are not good compared to other current releases, such as Venom 2 which smashed all box office expectations here at the U.S grossing over 91.1 million on its opening weekend, and No Time To Die which across shores has grossing over 100 Million, and Dune in Russia which has made 112 MILLION, NOW these are box office pandemic hits especially for how recent these movies have been released, Venom 2 just came out and is doing WAY better than Shang-Chi and Black Widow ever did at first week of release. The MCU isn’t dominating the box office, if anything it’s falling behind, they are making less while other movies are making more. Other movies like F9 grossed at +700 Million, High Mom grossed at almost 1 Billion and Venom 2 has had the biggest domestic box office opening. Shang Chi internationally only grossed 180 Million which is pretty terrible and doesn’t break even. Box office numbers deem Shang-Chi and Black Widow as underperforming movies , and they are supposedly in the movie franchise that has the second highest grossing movie of all time (Avengers Endgame). Shang Chi and Black Widow are in the TOP 5 LOWEST grossing MCU movies, so the conclusion is no, neither Shang-Chi nor Black Widow performed well and the numbers says it.

@@SM-bo9zl At the end of the day though, it was still a slow mo scene, which they have always done for speedsters, that or just fast particle effects. Here we can actually just see the person running without any slow mo or particles in the way.
