This was such a fun tourny and I'm glad it allowed Selen to branch out and get in touch with the western side of Apex pro players. Noct's the real MVP and Ash still needs justice for that pizza.
So that's the power of Shiela... :O Also, my brain went "Then have her fellow players in Team Snake Bite tell her that" when Noct hesitated about telling Selen that chant line, but remembering what Noct was saying, I ended up going "What I'm suggesting is even worse!" X"D
I'm not that bad at shooters and I like to think I have great situational awareness, but Apex makes me genuinely wonder if I'm blind. Then I watch how Noct has 20/20 vision and sees 7 off-coloured pixels, *through his muzzle flash* mind you, running around 100 meters away and lands consistent shots on it, and... oof. Well, he's on the number 1 NA team for a reason.
@@randomaccount3364 dude I don't even watch or play FPS, I basically just started to watch a bit TSB and it was incredible. I know they see it better on their screen than we see on like three times compressed clips, but still. I was like "how do they see anything over there??" And then Noct said smth like "if I had a gun (when he was replacing altare in scrims), I'd kill the whole lobby" and even though it was a taunt, I thought wtf how big is the skill diff here??? The man must be insane!
theres a certain algorithm that determines how and where the zone is going to pull and end. With enough experience you can learn the algorithm and predict where the zone will go by looking at some different factors during a match
It doesn't take a long time to pick up once you try to focus on it. I'm not great at this game ( mostly low gold) but I can guess it right about 80% of the time
Yeah, this tournament was started only one week after VSaikyo. I wouldn't be surprised if the emotions of feeling useless were still associated with tournaments. It was also a debut goal(and almost certainly one she's had long before joining Nijisanji, given how competitive she is) of Selen's to participate in an official tournament, of which VSaikyo was the first opportunity that she could take. You can get over the loss itself real quick, but you might struggle to get over the ego blow of doing poorly at something you're extremely skilled at, and placing low in something you always wanted to do for a long time. Still, she's doing fine. I'm willing to bet that this today's soft Selen was 80% a joke and 20% the remaining feelings.
@@Yvain-fn7ao Thank you for all your explanations. I can understand that she's still feeling down about what happened in VSaikyo. I already read her tweets about it. I'm just curious how she'll speak about it live. So far, she's only giving hints like this. I'm still waiting for the Payday collab, I hope she's all good by that time.
@@jmutube61191 She already talked about it, but basically is what the tweet says and said that if anyone is curious they should check the tweet. As for what she said in this tourney, you could take it as frustration or sadness but also I think she just saw the joke and went for it regardless because she's an entertainer.
