RBT: If you don’t touch the ball on a kickoff at all and only for a kickoff and the other team picks up the ball it’s the kicking teams ball, that is basically a long onside kick

6:35 it doesn’t matter if you touched the ball. It’s a kickoff. As long as the ball goes 10 yards the defense can recover.

Rbt kickoffs are always live balls its the same as an onside kick if the kicking team picks it up even if they touch it first its still their ball

RBT when a kickoff is kicked it doesn't matter if no one has touched it. Whoever picks it up it's their ball. Just like an onside kick. The only reason onside kicks are short is so that it is easier to recover for the kicking team.
