Who were your favorite players for each position throughout the tournament? After watching all the crew battles across three regions it's safe to say that Pier/Raydish for NA, Solarson for EU and HazardL for SA were MVPs, granted team pink lost in NA, but they had a lot of things going against them. My team would be HazardL to start, Raydish at one drop, and Godly at anchor :) Honorable mentions to Wes, Pavel and Phazon for exceptional clips throughout!
@@tempfnx You right bro. I’m sorry Pier. I’m just an over-obsessed fanboy. So anything I see cool I think of Sandstorm. I’m sorry I disrespected anyone. Pier that was insane. I just miss Sandstorm really much. So I’m sorry. Pier you deserve full credit for that insane read, GREAT JOB BRO. And Tempest I’m sorry bro. This won’t happen again.😞
I’m surprised Anonymous Alex didn’t get dodge punished more often… he dodged in pretty much every time. That’s a very bad habit for a professional player
Phazon and Raydish played out of their MINDS this set. Seriously impressed by how well they held up, and kept themselves in the tournament this long. Unfortunately, Alex did shitty and Boomie’s team was stacked. (Not to mention how comfortable they were with their legend picks). I’m not surprised this came down to the wire, but in my honest opinion, Alex dragged his team. 160 damage in the Grand Final? That’s like one stock. Nonetheless, best set ever.
True but the only reason it was even close is because Boomie sold his stock in the 1v1 against raydish for the reset if he had stayed onstage it wouldve been over far quicker
Was honestly an amazing finals, but Boomie and Pier should’ve been able to close it out with Raydish, especially after a massive lead. Still can’t take away from Pinks comeback
I’m dead. And on a real note you’re so right, this game just made no sense. Cody Travis’ team BARELY lost to Boomie’s team, but meanwhile Phazon and the boys annihilated Cody Travis’ team. So how in the world do they manage to lose this it makes no sense at all.
@@ShiffDawgMan skill isn't quantifiable and tournaments are purely a spectacle. Don't try to make sense of it, people will often play at completely different levels of competence in the same tournament on the same day even in the same hour. There's so much that goes into it: Momentum, confidence, personal history with opponents, weapon matchups, stamina/fatigue
@@ThePikeOfDestiny “Skill isn’t quantifiable” except that it absolutely is…. Brawl is an individual game except in 2’s arguably. Idk why people in brawl seem to think the game is some grand exception to how competition works. If you’re a better player, you win. Y’all act like these are robots and not human beings who have played thousands of hours of this game against every character imaginable. Y’all think this is so complicated but it’s really not. They choked a game they should’ve statistically won it’s as simple as that
@@zigakos2055 “boomie is carrying” Caspar/Ethan: Literally took 2 stocks without taking any damage last game Pier: Clipped zinquer and performed really good in the tournament overall
Man, when i first saw raydish in the 2v2 tournament (cant remember wich) i knew he would perform amazing in the next ones, and im not disappointed at all, what a good player. Congrats to both teams tho, what a set!!!
@@imazu_ also factor in it was an 8 hour long stream. Getting into losers in 1v1 is way different than crew battles as crew bs are way more exhausting. Add to that a bracket reset and boy must they have been tired
I am currently crying so hard right now. This is seriously the most beautiful, well put together story ever. I can’t believe how magical it was 1:12. That part truly made me shed a tear. And especially at 6:34 that part was just so truly heart touching words can not describe the series of emotions I felt. I absolutely loved the climax it had insanely excellent detail. SPOILER- This game was just heartbreaking. Made no sense at all. Cody Travis’ team (don’t remember the color) BARELEY lost to Red (Boomie). Pink team annihilated Cody Travis’ team, so how in the world did they lose this, it blows my mind. Team Red didn’t even clutch, this was just the biggest throw of Brawl history.
@@imazu_ That’s not entirely how that works. That’s like saying everything in life is 50/50 no matter what. Yeah they’re pros, but that doesn’t change the fact that it doesn’t add up. It’s not like the games were close, Pink team absolutely took a dump on Cody Travis’ team. Meanwhile Team Red just barely pulled out a win against the exact same team. So going off of that, it is wild that they would lose this game. It isn’t that hard to comprehend, that train of thinking is used in all types of sports when making seats. And going off of that methodology, it was Pink’s game to lose, 100%.
again, one word. Matchups. I don't wanna spoil the mood but since you already feel like disregarding the incredible game that played through, raydish and phazon had the orb/gauntlets vs guns/axe/scythe matchup of team Cody. Another reason here is the lineups of the teams. Team Cody had only one proper anchor in Cody, while team Phazon had two anchors, which was totally obvious as Raydish dominated the proceedings. For team red, CT had been consistently getting 1-3 KOs every time he showed up, and since no one on team Boomie had picks that countered him besides boomie... he was able to crack through the lower seeds of that team. Mostly you'd want your opponent anchor or their highest seed to NOT fight your lower seeds, because 0 to death is more prevalent there. Another very important thing here is that team pink had to play a lot more than team orange in this tournament. They went to losers and had to keep playing even after final reset while orange had a break in between. The mental exhaustion from games is usually evident in 1v1s and 2v2s, but it's a significant setback in a 3v3 crew battle since they last longer. Just because orange barely beat red doesn't mean they are any lesser than team pink. They adapted better, and clearly were deserving of their win. Would team Phazon win on any other day? I sure would like them to :) I mean they did manage to get the bracket reset, that's an incredible feat no one in SA or EU could
I still struggle to understand how that would determine who would win or not. It’s a completely different match, everyone probably wasn’t as tired, different weapon and play style matchups. It’s not that simple, a lot of factors go into it. Maybe it has something to do with Alex being an absolute potato the last match.
@@beersoap8406 Apparently none of you watch anything besides brawl, because this is exactly how brackets/seats are made for almost every single sport. This is such a basic ass concept but it’s going right over y’all’s heads
