I think Razor should Collaborate with Bones to make a new model that comes with bones griptape and reds bearings stock, this would be a huge change in the way the ripstik is misunderstood as a kids toy, you guys need to mix and match it up with the skateboard industry or skater hater kids are always gonna give ripstik flak for being 'gay' as they would call it, and that is that same exact attitude that is driving people away from bringing their new ripstiks up to their local skatepark. Anyways guys great video I look forward to seeing more vert/pool casterboarding as it is very scarce on youtube, I will be uploading some as well let me know if a door opens up for pool casterboarders who like to shred for style and carves and not so much techy street tricks. (a sponsorship)
They're probably not going to bring their new ripstiks to the skatepark because once they get there, what's shown in this video is all they'll be able to do. Bringing a ripstik to a skatepark is like bringing a longboard to a skatepark, it just doesn't belong there. Ripstiks aren't meant for tricks.
+Vztec v1 nah check out some of there other videos they do tons of street tricks you see done every day on skateboard at skateparks, this product ripstik very much belongs in skateparks, Its an underdog of a product that a lot skateboarders find threatening, do to having 2 wheels instead 4 casterboards make skateboarders look as if they are using training wheels compared to their sport.
But a ripstik will never be able to ollie even nearly as high as a skateboard, which restricts you to alot less variety in terms of tricks. You also can't 50/50, so there's another you can't do. Plus grinding is super weird with them, anddd.... They're made of plastic and weigh like 10x more than a skateboard
Vztec v1 I like them better for surf emulation,(what skateboards were founded and inspired by) and not so much street tricks to be honest. casterboards can slash and carve in unique ways that a skateboard can't, giving you an overall different kind of experience that is more like surfing and snow boarding than it is skateboarding. And at the end of they day after riding my casterboard around so much I tend to have better balance when I go back to my skateboard as if the ripstik was some form of intensive balance training
Alfred Aglossi non pas du tout. Ayant testé les deux je peux te confirmer que les ripstiks sont bien plus manaible, plus stable, agreable a l'utilisation que les oxeloboard. Tu peux en trouver sur amazon.fr il me semble.
j'ai un ripstik, un oxeloboard et un makrofit et je peux t'assurer que le ripstik est le meilleur ;) la seule que j'ai pas testée c'est streetsurfing...
Je confirme : pour moi le meilleur waveboard en skatepark et bowls est le Ripstik Air Pro. Il est léger et maniable, il a du pop et sa forme est bien étudiée pour pouvoir faire un maximum de tricks. En plus il est silencieux comparé aux autres (pas de ressort). Malgré quelques défauts j'aime bien aussi le 'Wave Rider' de Street Surfing, tout en bois, j'ai réussi à en choper un à un peu plus de 60 boules (mais habituellement il est à + de 100 euros).
