There's just something about the format that makes each match a real scrap compared to IBJJF or even ADCC. It's really great to watch!

His athleticism carries him hard. He reminds me of a young Nicky Rod, although worse. And Nicky Rod has gotten very technical recently...Haisam hasn't

Not to defend his poor attitude, but to be fair, someone as competitive and skilled would be frustrated when your opponent is just hiding in his turtle shell till the time runs out. That is the sport and its fair game, but I can understand how Haisam felt too.

My only complaint is the short time limit for each match, and the way they handle a tie breaker. Also feel cages are better suited to prevent going out of bounds and needing stops for stand-ups or repositioning.

I was happy when Haisam joined B-Team and he seems pretty nice in their videos. But this was a pretty embarrassing performance. Maybe Martinez gave him a reason to be that upset but I did not see it.

I’m not sure if people know but Eddie is broken . I also think the usage of juice has saved sakus body over the years . I could be wrong but I remember listening to a podcast where Eddie talked about injuries and It made me think if I wanted to continue jui jitsu .

Well, our guys compete regularly and are known at there belt rank. I’m not saying your wrong, but our Blue Belt just took IBJJF worlds (at adult). …and most of the meaningful academies in our (Bay) area, from CTA to Gorilla, also have well established schools/teams. Especially with the guys within the IBJJF ranking system. So I don’t know.

Quintet is a Judo tournament format normally between 2 schools or countries.

Probably angry with both Richie and the referee. The interlocking fingers shenanigans, the almost constant backing away from Richie (he can just stall since 10th Planet was in the lead) and the ref standing them up while he has a dominant position. Rida really needs to learn to control his temper better. Opponents are going to be annoying/shady occasionally, but that doesn’t make okay to storm of pouting like a child afterwards.

He is but he competed on Team Sakuraba the last Quintet and chose to run back with his old team.
