Its incredible how Tiger knows exactly what he needs to do with every type of shot. I feel like he understands the game of golf as good as anyone ever could
And yet he is still learning! He says in the beggining: Gotta hit it with a lil bit of steam"'. His idea was with more speed the ball doesnt have time to get up with the spin. But then he finishes with a soft shot spot on. This was it.
I was watching a video of Tiger hitting the stinger earlier this week. I played yesterday and was on the fairway but with an oak tree overhanging in front of me limiting how high I could hit the ball. I remembered what Tiger said to do to execute the stinger, hit it perfectly under the limb, landed short of the green, and rolled up to 12 feet of the cup! Thanks, Tiger, you will always be the man!
I like seeing these guys on their own shooting the breeze and explaining their ideas, a lot better than when the little English guy controls everything and talks constantly.
Yup. I'm like "This dude probably is a 15 handicap and drives it 210 yards, and talks WAY too much". Still, even without him, they managed to have awful camera work still.
TIGER. the golf world longs for the day when you will hit stingers again! Your mastery of bending the golf ball to your will has always been without equal. In my opinion your are the GOAT of GOATS. Ask MJ and Gretzky…. I bet they would agree. Wishing you well.
Tiger's wins almost every challenge!! I feel like he is should giving instructions to all the other Taylormade guys... but many of them are ranked higher than he is in the world rankings (pre-car crash). He truly demonstrates the art of shot making...
You can really see in this video how much Colin and Tommy respect Tiger. Always complete silence when he’s hitting, asking for advice and overall just respecting his presence.
It would be total plagiarism but I hope Callaway, Titleist and Ping do something similar to this. I love hearing these guys banter back and forth about how they conceptualize certain key concepts. They all basically accomplish things similar as an end result goes, but they think about it different ways and I also love how they talk about their misses and how their faults can creep in/out of certain things.....the Rory/Tiger/Jason video on chipping/pitching and bunker play is by far the best one of these. Keep up the good work Taylormade!
Morikawa’s ball has a bit of that sizzle to it as well. The first rip he took over the camera was like oh okay.. kid knows what the center of the face is.
I watched tiger in a practice range before a tourney one year hitting the cover on a range light around 150 yds out and probably like 60 ft up with his 7 iron. He dinged it 4 times in a row and finally broke the bulb in it. I couldn't believe how deadly accurate he was.
Cool how tiger talked during collin’s first shot just like how his own dad used to get him to focus in by throwing balls and jiggling keys etc You can tell he thinks this kid is special. There’s another TM video with all the top guys like rory DJ and rahm but tiger is asking Collin what his feels are on the shot
Taylormade, three words: Ground-level DTL camera…. Ok I’m a Tiger fan for years. But he seriously is the most talented in all areas of play and I am STILL learning from him. Jesus
See this is great! No shade to the Taylormade rep who’s always in the video because they want to control the narrative for marketing purposes, but this type of video is so much better. I’d rather then see at the end of the video or during the video an overview of the club they’re using as they do the shots, than to have to hear a rep constantly mention it ....
It seems like Tiger chose Collin to hand the torch over. The way those 2 communicate is something else. Both are collected and precise to the millimeter.
Yo the Apex on Tiger’s last shot was 3ft high but the distance was 116yds. Now that’s not crazy far on a golf course but imagine hitting a ball from goalpost to goalpost on a football field and it just hovers at 3ft high the whole time 🤯🤣
Can you guys please ask him how many tries he think he would have needed back in 2000? We need info so we can compare him to himself in his peak prime! Ask about swing speed in 2000 spin numbers, distances, practicing routines everything! Its cool seeing him now (pre car crash), but it would also be super cool if we could get some numbers from back in his prime. Like how fast was his swing speed in 1997 the week of the masters to achieve 323 yds off the tee that week. That is incidentally the same distance as Bryson averaged at the masters in 2020!
Before modern launch monitors there was no way to determine things such as ball and club head speed at that time I’m sure he could ballpark it but he won’t have actual numbers everything in those days was just look at what the ball does and go off that
@@connorhockettable But there have been launch monitors commercially available since around the time Tiger turned pro. For research purposes well before that. The data exists.
@@0v417 We don't need to speculate. Example from when Tiger first transitioned to modern equipment versus the mythical "longest tour player ever." ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZxhFpxTtAa8.html
