I love the section on “A Sky Full of Stars”! It’s so well done! Especially the fireworks that actually looked like twinkling stars after they exploded! Amazing!!! And the music too one of Coldplay’s classics along with Paradise and Viva la Vida!
Both this and Malaysia's shows were the best I've ever seen (and I've lived in the West End for fifteen years, so I watch every year). In the direct moments afterwards, I thought the UK was the best, but now, having rewatched both this video and Malaysia's, I honestly think Malaysia's was better. While the UK went big (seriously, I've never seen the sky that filled) and had a larger selection of firework types, I felt like Malaysia had a more cohesive show, as I don't think the UK chose very well for their finale(s), leaving it to feel disjointed (tacking on a small little Star Wars clip at the end felt confusing and kind of took the wind out of their sails from the previous two songs). I also think Malaysia made better choices in synching to the music, and, although the UK's were epic, Malaysia had better tableaux. I'd be curious to see what others think-you too, uploader-thanks, by the way.
Thanks as always for the incredible footage and care with your uploads! Appreciated the added drone show footage as well. Personally UK had some of the best choreography between music selection and fireworks display this time round, with decent music transition, though I didn't really get the random Star Wars clip at the end. Until next year!
I might look silly, but what can I do... I am to admit, this show, in my opinion, is the best I've seen in 20 years (somehow the previous one was the very best as well...) I suppose those 2 greatest shows were our compensation for the Portugal disaster hahaha.
Still despite everything, whether it can be positive or negative, Pyrotex Fireworx from the United Kingdom (UK) still truly and solemnly deserves the championship all in all for this solidly prestigious and yearly awaited fireworks competition. So, a very sincere and splendid congratulations to Sir Mark Kelsall and the rest of his crew for their very first Honda Celebration of Light win from both the judges, and also including the audiences as well.
