Yeah those saves are incredible. Maybe the US should make it legal in high school to play off the court like that. 🤔

Im in my 4th year playing high school volleyball and I agree. I’ve seen so many opportunities to go off the court and continue the play. Where I am, we can’t go past the first step of the bleachers or past the bench area.

@@livi9304 I an official for high school volleyball. So I guess it could depend on the rule set. In most gyms players have to play the ball before bleachers and benches.

Ive always considered LIBEROs as the "defense captain" of the team. They need to exert leadership in making sure that all the defenders are in their proper places and asking the blockers to block a certain way to give them ways to dig balls.

Aside from the freak quick and some small dramatizations haikyuu is really accurate with the plays, positions and all the details lol. Volleyball is a crazy game

I love your reactions! I have started watching volleyballs but things happen so fast, it's still a bit hard for me to understand sometimes. Also, I noticed at 3:37 that the white team libero is clapping lol Love to see the good sportsmanship

In Korea, I think most of the barriers are soft barriers on the shorter sides of the court. But the ones on the longer sides are made of a bit firmer ones.

New intro let's gooo! Question though: As only the team captain can discuss with the ref, wouldn't that make it weird for the libero to be captain? Not being on for all points makes that a bit awkward doesn't it?

A regular captain may not always be on the court either. For example if a middle is captain, they aren't always on the court either. They would just name another on court player captain. I guess it would be the same in the case of the libero being captain.

if im not wrong, the Korean libero(the shorter ones that still stand after jumped on the table) looks like one of Korean national's Liberos. check out VNL 2019 matches. great video, keep it up.

I’ve always loved volleyball and wanted to try it though the school I go to at the moment don’t do volleyball and it’s really annoying that I can’t have proper games or at least learn about it but I mean my sister bought me a volleyball for Christmas and I’ve been playing with that alone cuz my sisters think I’m just a Nishinoya wannabe T-T
