I don’t think you can run anything through Loyer unless he takes a gigantic leap in his physique and consistency.

@@ripsett6638 Loyer is a shooter plain and simple but has deceptive abilities as well. When Smith was in foul trouble he ran point and actually did a decent job. He was who opponents keyed on to keep him under wraps bc Fletch can go off for 12pts in no time. Add in Colvin(who posted his video of 14 straight made 3's a couple days ago) and Heidi and we have a perimeter full of 40% or better 3pt shot makers.

@@bradprather823 I love loyer but he is pretty much at the mercy of the defense. If he gets keyed on he doesn’t get shots up and if he puts the ball on the floor he’s too obviously trying to bait a foul (to the point refs don’t call contact on him because he’s on the floor half the game). He’s going to have to get really crafty to hold onto his starting spot.

There’s another 7’3” guy who has been waiting his turn behind Zach. Jacobsen will have to get in line.

Chet Holmgren is 7’1” 208 lbs TODAY. Jacobsen is 7’3” 255 lbs. He will be fine. I see Jacobsen playing the 4 this season and will be unguardable as he shoots over every defender.

Braden Smith put on 40 pounds in the summer of 2020. 8,000 calories a day and serious weights. His high school trainer did that. Just saw a video on it.
