I imagine the conceptualisation of this song came about when they were talking about JJ's epic performance of "我们". That song took a massive toll on JJ, his broken heart was laid bare for all to see. An incredibly heart wrenching yet powerful performance, one must watch it to understand the back story to "Should've Let Go"
