That and Roy's comment of Ted absolutely smashing it is hilarious. Beard sees the situation as a coach, and he's nervous about his players not being in the right headspace to win. Roy is thinking about how he'd feel playing at that moment, and he knows that every player on that team is about to play the best game of their lives.
Agreed. I've never been so torn on whether I want a show to continue. The finale was amazing. I'd almost rather it be the end rather than letting that amazing finale go to waste

There's a lot of moments in the show like that. I want the game they lost 0-5 and they had to edit the tapes to be 10x speed with the Benny Hill theme just so the coaches could stomach watching it.
